Occasional Scratchy Audio over USB

Finally breaking in my new axe for a track, an Eastman T186MX. Using the "Cork Sniffers" preset straight up. This has a lot of slop, but it's the way she goes! Thanks to Simon Peter King for the excellent backing track.

Question about running a real drive pedal in front

Hey guys, I have a question about running an OD/distortion pedal in front of the Axe. Should I make adjustments to the "Instr In" setting in I/O to compensate for the drive pedal, or would this counter the effect of the drive? I just notice that with a hot pedal in front it's sticking on...
