    That isn't a lofty statement at all. I've tried crown, QSC, along with several other amps and there is nothing like matrix GT1000 in a SS power amp. The matrix isn't a true FRFR but it does make the AXE FX sound more tube like. The power amps you've mentioned weren't designed for this application.

    IMHO Mac (Apple) is a hyped status symbol, haven’t found anything that I can’t do on my PC which I would need a Mac for. I've heard this same argument from line 6 users. I agree that Mac is an extremely well marketed product, but I have never met a musician that switches back after owning one.

    I had this set up. I was using the V30 without the IRs. I would high recommend using a FRFR speaker and taking advantage of the IR's. Matrix makes a 2 x 12 cabinet.

    That sounds like your guitar is buzzing. Your pick attack may be a bit harsh for how hot you are setting up your amp. These high gain boutique amps are hypersensitive to fret buzz.
