Simple way to change tempo using a front knob button?

It doesn't seem to stay on the screen long enough to make an accurate change easily. Preferably if an ABCD encoders can be assigned permanently? Is it possible to control it externally somehow?

Is there a simple way to do that where we can assign one of the knobs permanently to tempo? I use a single preset for a bunch of songs with tempo changes only. Instead of creating presets for each song, I just wanna use the rotary encoders. Also - does anyone know of an external rotary dial...

Output 1 and out 1 mode set to stereo, t only input 1 and input 2 (both rear set to left ) both guitars work except no pan. There is no mixer in the blocks or in output I have the stereo outs to stereo in into matrix amp and then to stereo speakers

Axe-Fx II Firmware 19.00 Public Beta #2

I did a 19b2 install and the volume on a bunch of presets dropped. I reset all the amps... Also when I started increasing volume in the amp block it started to clip. At clipping the volume is way lower than 18.12. Well kinda... The scarlett 18i20 shows clipping... Axe doesn't...it's at noon...

I came to fas at version 7...or earlier... There obviously have been shit load of parameters, that came and went, boatload of technology like ultrares, scenes etc... hi res etc, truckload of amps, effects etc... Been upgrading religiously...tinker tinkering little only sometime to get good...

I use spdif between axe to my scarlet 18i20...usb mixer. I record via USB. Two things I have noticed after I switched to spdif... I get a sound only when my computer is on...beyond setting everything to 48k etc. Which is OK... But any ideas why?... Second in my setup or for setups like...

Yeah I got it too... But it assumes that u can get the dump to work... I can get the sys ex through bot now not axe edit and axe edit says the dump file is corrupted

Ok it appears somehow I am able to get a dump in Bot now....the setting on MFC was Use expansion (not Midi). Now MFC edit does not read the file...says it corrupted. And the MFC Edit tool to recieve sysex still gives the invalid sysex message...Initial message is missing etc

how much reworking of patches has FW18b caused you?

Minimal....changed over to SPDIF and even levels arent much of an issue cos of SPDIF....(unless u keep level in teh amp at extreme)...for the most part this firmware had little or no effort....no advanced parameters at all...its good enough for me.

Got it thanks. It looks like if I set the slider in the Mix software slider for SPDIF max at 0 db...thats the max output right? Looks like no matter how high I turn up the guitar and levels, it never goes into clipping...Maybe this is one of the great benefits of SPDIF..Am I correct??

Another quick question...earlier my Scarlett 18i20 showed a lots of red from levels over...Now that its all going digital...there is no red light for clipping anywhere on the Scarlett...I am able to get a bit louder I think....is this normal...or does SPDIF show clipping somehow? Many thanks...

OK it works fine but the sample rate keeps changing by itself back to 44.1...and sound goes off...How do I make sure teh Mix Control or computer does not screw with the sample rate?? Again many thanks

Stereo output levels differ...is this normal

Ok my setup is Gtr to AXE front panel...out 1 stereo to Mixer the two outputs L&R connected to two input channels on Focusrite. Now the mix control software on Focusrite (as well as the front panel display) shows stereo coming in on two channels but the levels are different...ANy idea what may...

Thanks so much for answering......I was just hoping to leave the speaker inside the chassis, take the 1/4th inch cable from the speaker, (maybe this is what you mean) use an extension cable and connect to matrix. Would that be good?? Yep wont connect to anything else inside the chassis...

Just curious... I have a fender blues Jr. Can the output from Axe/ Matrix be hooked to wherever the blue's Jr Head is hooked up to the cab...I mean remove the physical cable between the Head and the cab and insert the speaker cable from the matrix... What's shd I worry about... Matrix supports...

Where do u select the High Quality option on the Reverb?? I see the new reverb types like London Plate...reinstalled axe edit, refreshed the blocks manually and still dont see it in Axe Edit. I can of course see it in front panel...but not in axe edit

, 6-7 years ago... My son who was 4 at the time said he wants to play like Scotty on imagination movers... Six months of insistence I bought him one tiny 100 dollars acrostic and thought at gc while buying for him.... That this might be a good father and son activity... He learned it for about...

Song Mode?

Which editor do you all use. Specifically .. Does using an editor affect warranty... Song mode seems like a great idea but stomping too many button to set up isn't appealing.... Editor definitely does make it usable

Quick control knobs

Is there anyway they can be permanently assigned only to say three or four functions like bass, mid treb and level... For all patches kinda like global setting... I seem to use only axe edits and just even remembered that there are 4 knobs that I probably have not used almost at all... So...
