Expression pedal with MMGT 16 unable to control volume block in Axe 3 - Resolved!

Finally managed to get the expression pedal working in the modifier section of the volume block! For some strange reason, after reinstalling FW 18.03, I refreshed Axe edit and viola....it works now. Really strange indeed!

Yups, checked to ensure both the CC numbers in the Axe 3 setup page and MMGT settings are the same. Yet, still unable to control the volume block when I assign the expression pedal to it.

Anyone sell all their tube amps?

Been a Axe user since XL days. With the Axe 3 and latest firmware, i no longer have the need to lug around traditional tube amps and pedal boards. As a matter of fact, i have sold off all my tube amps and pedals. All i have left for gigs is this little black box that has never failed....

[solved] Volume swells with RJM MMGT16 and Axe 3

Thanks guys! I realised that i made the wrong assignment to the volume block instead of "External Controller 1". Works perfectly now without having to reverse polarity for the EV-1.

Anyone using an RJM Mastermind?

Loving my MMGT 16. Though i am on the waitlist for the FC12, looks like i will be settling with the MMGT 16 instead. The large LED's are a big plus factor to me for live gigging!

They were back-ordered, but managed to get mine. I think they have available stock again. The wait time is a brisk compared to the FC12

I share your frustrations on the delayed waiting time. I eventually caved-in and acquired the RJM MMGT 16 instead..couldn't be any happier! Way more costlier but the MMGT is another brilliant product like FAS stuff and i have no regrets. I will also pass for the FC12 as the MMGT does everything...

Folks, just got my GT16 setup to control the Axe 3. Need some help with regards to setting up an expression pedal (EV-1) to perform volume swells. Currently, EXP1 of my GT16 has been setup to control the Volume Block in my presets for the mentioned purpose. However, the EV1 via the GT16 engages...

Matt, does the FC come with Faslink/adaptor then or do we need to purchase them separately to hook up with the Axe 3? Still abit confused as to what comes with the FC or what else we need to get to ensure it gets connected to the Axe 3.

Thanks for this update, Cliff! One thing that really hit me with this update is how great the amps feel and respond, simply amazing. As for the new speaker Compliance feature.....to my ears it somehow makes presets/patches sounds warmer and the top end fatter. Not sure how else is everyone...

New Axe FX II XL+ owner here

Don't kill me, but I also have a Kemper Profiling Amp. I have both the XL+ and KPA Powerrack as well. Both are cutting edge and i'm keeping them. Btw, i also own several tube amps and a few pedals that i enjoy and love....lol

Cab Pack 13! Misha Mansoor!!!

Hey Mikko, love what you are doing with all the cab packs. As i am currently thinking of getting one of your cab pack, the choice however seems overwhelming. I kinda like Bogner's and you have a Cab Pack 9 for that. Now with Cab Pack 13 (MM), if i understand correctly this is no just geared...
