I don't think you can completely bypass the preamp section, however load the Tube Pre amp model. It's a neutral preamp and designed exactly for this purpose.

Amp Block Advanced Parameters: What Parameters Do You Use? How Often?

Minimal, in fact since I got the FM3 last week, I haven't really touched them as much as felt I had to with the Axe-FX II. I usually add a touch of Speaker Drive, adjust the Low Cut Freq to taste with the amp model, and match the resonance curve with the cab IR I'm using.

Axe-Fx III vs The real deal tube amp

Try a Fryette Powerstation, it’s meant to be a neutral tube power amp, you leave power amp simulation on but turn off the speaker resonance. Solid state power amps are great (hell, Metallica use Matrix) and sound great. But there’s still something missing feel-wise for me. It’s small, though.

Try the Boost switch in the amp. Off the top of my head, my settings were Input Gain 5 (Boost on - adjust gain depending on how hot your pickups are), Bass 5, Mid 4, Treble 6, Presence 5.5, Master 2.5, Bright switch on. Fiddle with the bright cap value if it's a little too much. Couple that...

Yep, it's tremendous. It sounds and feel a lot like the Fortin Meshuggah amp if you turn the Bright switch on. A lot of "clank". There's a weird graphical glitch on the name on my unit. There are some nonsense Wingding like symbols in it. Does that happen on yours?

Enhancer Block: Amazing....

I can't say I've ever used the Enhancer block for too long - I always use the Chorus block after the Cab block, set to Dimension 1, Rate 0.250, Depth 25%, Mix between 15-25%. I find that sounds much nicer as a stereo widener, in my opinion.

I tend to use the BB Pre as a clean boost nowadays. Just feels a bit smoother and fatter, it might be what you're after. FAS Boost is another good one (much more powerful though, careful with the Level control) Otherwise, you could try engaging both "Cut" and "Boost" in the Amp Block.

Was messing about with this model last night. It sounds great clean boosted with a drive pedal and through the 4x12 German IR. Give it a go, really heavy and tight. I think I had it about Gain 5, Bass 5, Mids 6, Treble 7, Presence 5 and Depth 4 with the Master turned down a bit.

Sort of, yeah. The tube amp will "see" the load like it would a real speaker, but it doesn't do all the filtering a normal loudspeaker would - so you get the behaviour of a speaker but not the sound (that's where your IR comes in)

It's a feature on the Mark IV - not an Axe FX feature. There's a switch on the amp that lets you choose a "Harmonics" voicing or a "Mid Gain" voicing.

No real need for that, as it's basically just a IIC+ in a new shell. Check the JP2C manual to see how it is internally set (Deep, Bright, etc) and use that version of the IIC+ in the Axe FX.

Big +1. Part of saving up for the Axe for me, was to also factor in the price of good monitoring. You wouldn't spend £2500 on say, a Mesa Mark V to play it through a cheap guitar cab. It wouldn't do any justice to the amount you've invested in the amp. That's not to say there aren't great...

You should be able to get adequate results with just your simple amp parameters and an appropriate IR. There's no real need for advanced tricks. I'd start with your guitar first - find the right pick-ups that compliment you and your guitar and set their height correctly. What do you have currently?

BIAS port of an AX8 amp?
