Axe-Edit / Firmware Question: Please don't laugh!

I would say this. No one is ever forced to download to the latest FW. if you have important projects and gigs coming up and youre comfortable with your current settings wait until they are all out of the way. have the "Why fix something if it aint broke? " mentality and you should be fine...

USB screen redraw.

How to route axefx2 through main audio interface????

I use both my axe and soundcard. Plug the axe In via USB . Set the output in logic as soundcard and the input as axe fx . Hope this helps.

Is anyone using Axe 2 usb with Logic?

You are in mono. For 1-2 3-4 input you need to create stereo tracks. Thanks ;)

Axe fx froze then 3 second delay on every preset!

Strange thing happened to me. In the middle of recording in to my DAW (logic 9) . The axe suddenly froze for 5 seconds. When it powered back up I was getting a 3 second delay from guitar to the Axe. This is no exaggeration. I have my axe hooked up to computer using USB for input and use my focus...

Mine constantly crashes with 8.01 . please fix this.. the screen goes blank....AMP Y is selected on every preset... disappointing Fractal, :( ... See my post about this.

Also if i go back to the presets it automatically changes my custom amps to 59 BASSGUY.. i have to manualy go to AMP block and change it back to AMP X which contains the original amp.. ANy ideas?? im very worried something awry will go wrong at a studio session or gig... i wish i never updated...

so i updated the FW to 8.01... When i scroll through the patches it acts normal but when i go to an AMP block to edit, 59 BASSGUY is always selected and AMP Y is selected. Very annoying :evil as i type this... when i tried to press RECALL My AXE FROZE , and the screen went blank.. HELP !! and...

Any word when Axe-Edit with v8 coming?

I actually find the front panel easier than AE. Never used AE except for backup and FW updates. Like someone said earlier. Learn to drive stick first . You won't regret it :)

Hi fractal. I played and tried all factory presets since I got the axe fx ii . All well except for preset #75 "down tuned guitar" ? It has latency by about 0.8-1.0 ms !! Please fix this for the next update. Any word from fractal and cliff would be appreciated and if you are aware of this.. ...

Seriously though, i'm not gonna smoke in the room anymore. Instead im gonna get some plants and some of that chemical good smelling stuff you plug in to the wall... but i wonder if their damaging... :p

Recommended Soundcard/Audio Interfaces to use with AXE II

hi. i have a Saffire Pro 24 which is amazing. Have had it for 2 years...Will it be sufficent to use with the axe II????. i wanna use analogue out mono...Any other you recommend thanks... would be great to hear from Clifff and co in this... i dont plan on using the axe live so only for recording...
