What External Pedals Are You Using With your Axe-Fx?

I run my entire big board with the Axe FX 2. Delays and verbs through the loop and drives comps vibe and trem straight into the front. It really does add a "real world" feel. I am currently just using the Amp and Cab blocks.

Axe Edit 3.8.1 constantly pausing communications.

Anyone having this issue? Anytime I modify a parameter from the AF2 front panel Axe Edit pauses. I have already reinstalled and checked USB.

Axe Fx Effects Loop with Eventide H9 and Strymon Timeline

Country/Motown/etc tone help

A great modern country mid gain sound is very reachable usic the 5153 Blue channel. I know at least one of Aldean's guitarists is now playing 5153s. He used to play Rectos and Lonestars.

New amps in next firmware...

I would love to see a Budda Superdrive and more low to mid gain amps. I would also love to see Cliff take aim at more delay types. If the Axe could nail the sound of my El Cap I would be in heaven.

My guess would be a LDC, like U47. Page's guitar sounds are all about capturing the ambiance of the room.

I totally just went to the amp factory site and saw the "Beautiful Boutique" collection and was so excited thinking they were IR'S for the Axe FX that I just immediately said add to cart and bought them. Little did I know that they were for the Kemper :( Im so stupid! Guess I just lost $100 ugh!

FX Loop issue….how to solve?

So I have some great overdrive pedals that I feel I just cannot clone in the Axe FX2 so i run them through the loop before the amp block and it sounds great. As I have found driving the front end of the Axe's input naturally sounds horrible and not like a real nap because its digital the fx loop...

Cab Lab problem. Please help.

Wow!!! Now let me say how much I love Fractal Audio and my Axe FX but that is just a horrible work flow. Not that I really care because it was only $20 but it would be nice to know that its not just a simple load the IRs and mix like you would using real mics on a console. Thanks for clearing...

So I bought cab lab last night and followed all the steps via Scott Peterson's YouTube video but all I can hear is one cab IR. I am trying the FW12 beta so I don't know if that's the issue or not. I have chosen 3 IRs and have the set up properly and sent to the scratch pad but the mixer does not...

Well I am officially done with pedals.

So ive tried and tried to make my pedalboard sound good through the Axe FX II with no luck. Its looking like I will be moving on to the MFC now. Its kind of a shame cause I loved these pedals with my Eleven Rack. RIP. However my new guitar sounds wonderful with the Axe. Pics below.

I am so frustrated....

I should mention I am already using the FX loop to run my Strymon Timeline and El Cap delays. I would think that I should be able to use an overdrive pedal right into the front of the Axe. I mean if it works on the Eleven Rack the Axe should support it even better since it is a superior unit...
