Axe-Fx 3 got DC or AC coupled input and output?

Hi, I searched for this info on the web but apparently there are no answer yet. Can someone give me this information? It would be of great help for me. Thanks

    Axe-Fx 3 Cleans much better than Axe-Fx 2? Comparison/opinion about.

I'm an AxeFx2 owner and i just saw some videos on youtube demonstrating new AxeFx3 clean sounds (almost all fender amps). I felt impressed, they seems to sound really much better than those in AxeFx2. Is it only a sensation of mine or there has been that great improvement i felt about? I'm...

Closed Adding selectable sample rate feature with Firmware update?

As I said also in my previous thread i didn't meant to offend anyone and i apologized for every "maybe" too hostile words in that. Since the beginning i showed my love and appreciation for this company and for the great work they did on every AXE FX, this has always been out of discussion. The...

Closed Adding selectable sample rate feature with Firmware update?

Just asking if it's possible! No wish no anything else. If buying kemper or helix instead of Fractal would have been the same thing for me, probably i would not waste my time asking question on this forum. So take that as a compliment.

Closed Adding selectable sample rate feature with Firmware update?

It will be possible to add selectable sample rate feature with Firmware update as Kemper did? Or it will be necessary to change hardware for this feature?

    The Axe-Fx 3 works only at 48Khz

There are many other thread with people saying "i wish the III could have a selectable rate" and nobody at fractal seems to care about it. It's frustrating seeing that a useful feature is still not implemented while you expect this feature since fractal is marketing AXE FX3 as "the center of...

    The Axe-Fx 3 works only at 48Khz

Jim told a different thing, it seems you don't need to spend 700$ dollar in a useless hardware SRC if you have the right audio interface. So if anyone know something about how to practically do what Jim said it will be really helpful.

    The Axe-Fx 3 works only at 48Khz

Thank you Jim, your answer is gold. Can you tell me how can i practically do that?

    The Axe-Fx 3 works only at 48Khz

No victimism, just trying to shift the attention to a good question that none seems to care about. And originally was not a question of mine. People seems to care too much about higher sample rate, my original posts (rant) is not about sound quality is about ease of use and few get this point...

    The Axe-Fx 3 works only at 48Khz

Could someone answer this and stop focusing on the rant for a little bit? Thanks Kemper did from a Firmware update.
  11. L

    The Axe-Fx 3 works only at 48Khz

As i already said it could be fine the unit cannot go to higher sample rate than 48Khz but there is no good reason to not make 44100 available, so both your comment are useless.

    The Axe-Fx 3 works only at 48Khz

It will be nice if someone could answer this question: Since i'm considering buying an AXE FX3 it will also be nice to know if a selectable sample rate can be implemented by Fractal Audio via Firmware update or the hardware is inadequate to support other sample rate than 48Hkz. Thanks

    The Axe-Fx 3 works only at 48Khz

The problem are those nonsense 700$. I mean there's a software solution or near priceless solution for this situation?
  14. L

    The Axe-Fx 3 works only at 48Khz

It will be really nice to find a workaround cause many people seems to agree with me: And even more if you look back to previews pages of this thread. Thank you guys for joining the "rant", maybe fractal will start considering also our needs.

    The Axe-Fx 3 works only at 48Khz

Thank you very much for the help Bakerman. Unfortunately Reaper is not used by professional, or maybe only few of them use it, so it's really rare to get a Reaper project for me. Does anyone have a solution for ProTools, Logic or Ableton?

    The Axe-Fx 3 works only at 48Khz

Ok, let's talk about an ipotetic scenario and see what you guys would do: I've got a project from a client set at 44.1 with guitar DIs recorded in it, I want to reamp those DIs with AXE FX3. There is a way to do that in the digital domain without going back to analog? How could i do that?
  17. L

    The Axe-Fx 3 works only at 48Khz

Good question, anyone know if it's possible?
  18. L

I care, and you will if you'll be the same situation i'm in.
  19. L

    The Axe-Fx 3 works only at 48Khz

So there is a way to use a software SRC in realtime to be able to use AXE FX 3 with sample rate settings of the DAW different from 48Khz? I mean connecting an AXE FX 3 digitally to the DAW and get the connection work even at different sample rate?
  20. L

    The Axe-Fx 3 works only at 48Khz

And that's the reason why i'm writing on this forum otherwise i would already bought other gear, don't you think so?
  21. L

    The Axe-Fx 3 works only at 48Khz

It's ease of use...the reason i wish AXE FX3 had this feature is for ease of use... latency is the biggest bitch in planet for the audio world even the lowest latency can give you the most tremendous phase issue. Knowing you are not doing useless AD DA conversion is always nice when you are...

    The Axe-Fx 3 works only at 48Khz

I read in another thread that the motivation of fixed sample rate at 48Khz is that Cab IRs need to be resampled to make other sample rate available. I didn't ask for a reason because it doesn't matter, they didn't make selectable sample rate because they think is not needed and not useful...

  25. L

    The Axe-Fx 3 works only at 48Khz

Ok, maybe they can't increase it and it could be fine, but why they can't make 44100Hz available? it will also increase the number of effects that could be used simultaneously, it could be a real benefit. Would you go to the hardware store to complain if their saw can cut titanium but not wood...

    The Axe-Fx 3 works only at 48Khz

So come on...i think you didn't get the point... I think it's not so angry, they know i love their product i'm only a little frustrated from this limitiation that seems they cannot overcome. 48K it's better quality obviously but when you are working you need to be fast and sometimes someone...

GlennO seems to understand what i mean, thank you. I know my way of expressing these issue is not really friendly. But anyway there are several other thread that talk about that and anyone seems to get Fractal Audio attention. Just to be little more precise, i don't think that guys at Fractal...

    The Axe-Fx 3 works only at 48Khz

This is a rant, i don't write these kind of messages very often but i think this one is worth it. You guys at fractal audio did an amazing job creating the AXE FX 3, it's an amazing piece of equipment with amazing capability and versatility of sounds. But it's now obvious that you did not...

    DI level question, very strange

The only thing that can change your DI sound is the Input impedance settings on your preset. it is in the input menu in the same window of the input gate settings, if it is set to "auto" the input impedance parameter change accordingly to the first active block of the preset. a different setting...

Reamping Issues!!!! Setting input impedance for recording dry track

Thanks for the reply, i understand what you say but it isn't more practical to send the dry signal into the input of the AXE FX through a reamping box and reuse the Input impedance parameter also in the reamping phase, than to use an EQ or a filter block?! Of course with an EQ you can be more...

Reamping Issues!!!! Setting input impedance for recording dry track

I know, probably there are no right answer, it depends on what type of sound you're looking for. but the problem is that i use the input impedance parameter of the AXE FX 2 a lot to create my presets, so I have to record a dry signal that when i'm gonna do the reamping it will have to respond to...

Reamping Issues!!!! Setting input impedance for recording dry track

The input impedance of the RME Instrument input is 470K. The signal differ in both way, with the impedance input of the AXE FX set at 1M(the maximum value) the signal is more fat, it has more low end, less high and it has more amplitude. As you decrease the input impedance value, the DI signal...

Reamping Issues!!!! Setting input impedance for recording dry track

Reamping Issues!!!! Setting input impedance for recording dry track

Hi everybody, I need to record some guitar tracks and also i would record the dry track from the axe fx for reamping. I know there is the input impedance parameter that can affect the sound of the dry signal, so I had done a simple test: I recorded the dry signal direct into the instrument...
