Can I use scenes 6-8?

My MFC is set up so that I have to hit REVEAL and then I have access to scenes 1-5 on the bottom row of the MFC. Since I never use the indiv effect switches I'd like to have buttons 6-8 go to the corresponding scene. Possible?

FAS Hot Rod live Immigrant Song (YouTube)

Output options/advice on the AXEXL

Just picked up a Matrix power amp to throw in my rack with the AXE and I'm wondering what outputs to use. Currently, I am using "OUTPUT 1" exclusively...at home, I run the 1/4" L/R outputs out to a mixer that runs my studio monitors. The XLRs are what I use live as 2 mono outs--one to my stage...

**Help Needed** pulled the cord out of the plug--what goes where?

Hey guys, at tear down last night our sound guy pulled my power cord out of the plug receptacle. I have a gig tonight and am not sure where the white and black wires go (I am assuming the green is ground/on the bottom). Thanks so much in advance!

Quantum changing SP-1 settings

Is Quantum effecting anyone else's SP-1 settings? I've had strange wah/SP1 issues ever since I switched to Quantum...anyone else having problems? I never change exp pedal settings as I only use one and I use it strictly as a wah--after the new update tho all of my wahs are always on?

Live clips of new JMP-1 'de-phased'

I still am not sure exactly what the 'de-phase' thing does but I did throw a de-phased cab in front of the new JMP-1 amp a few days ago and liked it a lot. I kind of associated the JMP-1 with cheesy 80's tones but I think I'll play around some more with it--nice full Marshall tone IMO

Faslink problems?

I'm having issues with Faslink since I swapped out my Ethernet connection on my front panel where everything is routed. I guess my #1 main question is does the Faslink do EVERYTHING that the Ethernet did? My worry is that it does not and I have just ripped out my MIDI and Ethernet connections...

MFC-Edit won't load...iLok something needed?

I get this odd "THIS TYPE OF FILE CAN HARM YOUR COMPUTER. DO YOU WANT TO KEEP MFC-EDIT .jar ANYWAY?" message. I think I need to do something with this iLok thing but I keep getting a "server connection error" message when I try and run that. Very confusing...if we need to integrate this...

Just switched over to using Faslink...now all of my MFC settings are gone??

I have been using the phone jack to power and control my MFC-101 V3 but yesterday I routed the XLR to my front panel. Now, it seems to have reset the unit?? Can I get my prev settings back? I'm pretty sure this is the issue but I also just set up my RAC12 as well. Advice?

How to tell which are Ultra Res cabs on AXE-Edit??

I thought that the UR cabs showed up in italics but it looks like the italics is for user cabs... So...which of the others are UR? I notice that there is a "(UR)" after some of them but I thought that indicated who the IR came from--"(OH)" is for Ownhammer, right?

Way too many "sections" on this forum methinks

Not sure what the advantage is to have so many catagories? Results in a ton of interesting threads getting pigeonholed into areas where they won't ever be seen. Have a Lounge, a II, and a Std/Ultra area. More traffic and more discussion.

I love the AXE--tried a Matchless last night

Decided on Wed before the gig to dial a tone out of a completely new amp for me. We had a ton of snow and I figured what the hell, place was going to be empty anyway LOL. Turned up the gain to about non-1:00 on the Boutique 2 and put a RC Boost in front. Thought it sounded pretty good:

Suggestions for Fender and Vox UR IRs?

Seems like a ton of great 4x12 IRs out there to be had but I am finding a hard time finding a good (2x and 4x) 10" speaker Fender and a (1x and 2x) 12" speaker VOX...something that emulates the "open and airy" feel of an open back combo...suggestions?

Voodoo GCP - volume dips when switching patches?

Odd--its like someone is "fluttering" the volume when I switch patches on my IIXL with the Voodoo Ground Control Pro. I get two of them--one smaller about .5 sec after switching and then another about .75 sec after that. The second dip is a bit more exaggerated. Any thoughts?
