FC-6 Main Display Blank

Earlier today I had a scare from the same thing. I turned on my setup and noted that the preset info on my FC6 main display was very faint. I managed to figure out to check the FC display parameters as well and noted that it was lowered to around 70% as well. Turning it up solved the problem...

Just read the thread about the Master Out plug heating up. Will give the adapter a try when time permits. May also solve my problem of the Master Out plug fighting for space with the power plug.

I see. I got the FracPad to work with my iRig setup but decided to go back to USB/Mac since I am already using cables anyway. Was able to also connect via the Yamaha Bluetooth MIDI dongle but kept losing the connection intermittently. Thought I’d try out the CME WIDI Master instead.

Sorry to revive an old thread. Was searching on setting up my WIDI Master and this came up. Am also facing this problem of the IN cable jack hitting the IEC power plug. Just checking if it’s safe to just force the OUT DIN pin in.

Yup. Saw that too but after going into the layout page on the FM3, was at a loss of what to do next. Finally after some trial and error I’d figured it out. Here are the steps I went through on the FM3 to bring up the scene layout in my FC6 as soon as I tap the desired preset button on the FC6...

Here’s my modest setup. The dual footswitch is set to change the layout to either scenes or effects. Will then use the FM3’s footswitches to select scenes or turn on/off effects. Still waiting for another black dual footswitch to keep within the color theme.

i don’t recall being able to select anything from the drop down menu in the Midi Out an Midi In boxes at the bottom of the launched FracPad page. Meaning the boxes were non-responsive when I tapped on them. Will give it another go tomorrow and report back. Thanks a bunch!

Was afraid of that... sorry for still not quite getting it. The iRig midi 2 comes with a mini-din to lightning cable, which was what I used to connect to the iPad. it also comes with a mini-din to USB cable. Do you mean I should try using the USB cable and attach it to one of these?

just from the pic, it looks like you need to raise the pivot posts and tighten the trem claw to level the floyd's baseplate with the top of the body. check to see if the bottom of the baseplate is catching anything in the cavity, thus preventing it from returning to zero. +1 on gotoh but they...

AXE FX II - Tuner Offsets

my recently acquired washburn n24 came with the bfts. what i did was to set the intonation using EvenKnudsen's second set of offset. this need to be done only once. after that i set my axe fx 2's tuner offset to EvenKnudsen's first set of offset. whenever i need to tune my n24, i will turn...

after a couple of weeks with the sdx, the only other tweaking was sanding off a bit under the nut to bring the string height at the nut down a smidgen. must say it really is a bang-for-the-buck guitar. was so impressed with it, i had wanted to get another just for an Eb tuning ala evh. ended...

[ot start] we all tend to emulate our heroes so as guitarists so it's only normal we try and use the same gear as our favorite players. we also seek the same tones: just see how people get all excited when eddie's tones are discussed. for myself, i am such a huge steve morse fan that till now...
