clean rhythm, some clean lead, 2 higher gains leads

Hey there...:-) I have just been playing a bit with that black box that i bought 1.5 year ago. Its be best guitar equipment i have ever bought, however i have not owned so many different amp/guitars I'm no professional, have played for "some years", haven't played live for more than max 10...

Gilmour rotary speaker emulation

Great sounding clips, Well played. I prefer first sound clip, it's slightly more dark sounding to me, but I find the effects to be more in the sweet spot, one maybe just a bit more bright or slightly more bite... Which amp/cab is in use?

FW10 Amps into real cab = Astounding!

Hey, Thanks for the hint about real cabs!!! I have had the axefx for about a year. I have always seen the axefx as in need of the cab simulation and IR possibilities and in a FRFR setup. Wanted to try using a real cab for long time, but used my time to fiddle around with headphones and QSC...

Horrendous output clipping on preset selection

I checked mine for switch time and digital buzz artifact. Switch time seems ok, better than version 9 and I cannot hear digital buzz artifact. I do not use a lot of scenes and heavy patches,

Horrendous output clipping on preset selection

I got output clipping when upgrading from 10.00 to 10.02. I did not upload the preset, only firmware 10.02. Decided to upload bank A backup preset from 10.00 to 10.02 and output clipping disappeared, which is strange as backup preset was identically with what should have been on axefx. Not sure...

Lin6 Relay G90 NOISE

I have had a broken wire in Line6 mini XLR connector, however it may be something else if white noise is higher in your device, than normal open guitar cable noise...

V9.02 All Amps + Cabs

Any idea why MidiOx can't send these presets to the Axe? It could be the that preset goes to a preset location instead of the edit buffer that you might expect. For 256 - Ampeg SVT check preset 0 or 256 if loaded with MIDI-OX

way to record wet and dry tracks without USB?

Just a note, It may not be relevant for you, but I have recorded 1 Clean signal + 2 processed (axefx) to a digi002. Line6 G30 wireless out1 -> digi002 Mic1 Line6 G30 wireless out2 -> axefx input axefx spdiff -> digi002 spdiff. It could also have been: Line6 wireless out1 -> digi002 Mic1 Line6...

RECORDING

I use digital spdiff from axe fx to protools 8 (win7, no support for ASIO in PT 8). In this setup all tracks can be monitored, and low latency monitoring works ok. maybe similar setup is possible in Cubase?

cab will be stored in slot 1..50 depending on which USER cab is currently selected in preset. you do not need to store preset and cab will be generally available for all other preset after loading file.

Yes, If you load new bank, bank in unit will be overwritten You can backup bank A in utility -> MIDI menu of axe-fx and restore it again after testing new 9.0 bankA

I have backup cabs and reloaded with MIDI-OX. Strange enough, this can only be done with one cabs at a time, not as a bank file. You will have to have a preset with cab set to USER1, load a file then change from USER1 -> USER 2 and load a file again.
