Unfortunately I have the same issue with my new FC-12 MARK II. I just unboxed it and updated it to 1.12, before I saw there is a 1.13. After reboot it is stuck on Initializing and no matter what I do. It won't change. Fractal Bot nor my AxeFXIII see any FC12 connected. So I can't reset or update.

Money for nothing? Anybody?

It's actually the bridge pickup on a Gibson Les Paul with the tone dialed down a bit with an overdriven amp. Thats' how you still get the overtones. No wah necessary.

Are .rar files and .moog files any good for tone matching?

I think you mean .mogg files. You can find them here: Multitrack songs for download :D There are great for recording your own guitar parts with the original backing. ;-) Guitar-karaoke! They might be good for tone matching, since you can the tracks individually in Audacity. I've never tried...

You can open the Bank with Presetmanager in Axe-Edit and then swap your trashed presets with those in the backed-up bank. I hope this will work. Good luck! Cris

Out 1 is working :encouragement:, but since my monitor is on Out2, I had no sound while testing at first. Headphones work, and FOH gets sound, but My Out2 stays silent. Is that because of the FXLoop block?

Need some troubleshooting: I have both my input 1 and 2 leds blinking. 1 Guitar (Front input) and 2 Mic (FX return) but there is no sound... :-( Both Out 1 and 2 are connected and have sound on any other patches. Out modes are Copy L->R and Output2 Echo is Output1 Input 1 and 2 are both left...

With my Line6 G30 I can't get my input to 'tinkle' the red leds. Not even with the "instr in" on 100%. While reading this thread, I'm thinking of changing the signal cable. (when I'm back in the studio next monday) Anyone else have any ideas? Besides buying a Shure system. :) Cheers, Cris

Patch always on Scene 8?

When using the MFC you can 'default' to a scene other than 1 with the edit/save knob. Notice it blinking when changing scenes. Hitting the blinking edit/save knob on the MFC saves that scene to start from when selecting that preset. Maybe this is what happend? cheers, Cris

How do I load a preset from the AXE-EDIT folder that uses a custom cabinet?

Until EA 3.0 is released you shouldn't use Axe-Edit. You should use the AFX front panel and Fractal Bot to manage the presets and cabs. Fractal Bot will ask you per cab what slot you want to save it in. Then you can use the cab in the preset (front panel).

Yes, we can! When you press the reveal button, you will notice the Edit/Save-button is blinking. Just press the Edit/Save-button in the scene you want the patch to start with. I found out by accident. ;-) You might want to copy some presets, if you want different starting points in the same...

Aha! Hidden feature on the MFC. When changing the scene, the exit/save button starts blinking. Pressing the exit/save button saves the current scene state of the preset. 8)

I found that if I have my expression pedal in the toe position it works when switching presets. Where the heel should be the landingspot... Does anybody have any idea?

I'm having the same problem. When I move my pedal down and up, the wah gets bypassed like it should. But initially the Axe FX II shows the wah engaged, while in Axe Edit the wah is bypassed. The pedal is calibrated and I resaved the patches after bypassing the wah on the Axe FX II, but helas...
