    Make sure to use a heavy enough string gauge for a tuning that low. The Ibanez stock pick-ups are known to be a bit muddy some times but I don't have any experience on those particular ones you're using. Try cranking up the mids and cutting the bass also.

    You can run it bridged or only A/B for 16ohms (the bridged mode requires 8ohms or more). The Matrix support is superb so I recommend contacting them if you're problems continue.

    Your stomp boxes are probably programmed to send a program change also when engaged. Try the FCB Editor if possible and check for any unwanted program changes. FCB Editor made the whole programming nightmare quite easy for me.
