FM3 Firmware Version 7.00

Ok I updated a few weeks ago and noticed when Im playing live I have the slightest delay with my wireless. I've never had that problem before this update (I went from 5.0 to 7.0).....really odd because I wouldn't think a firmware update would do that. Could the update affect that?

Wireless for Fm9

These are amazing and very cheap. Been using them for almost a year. Played probably almost a 100 gigs with only 1 drop out that was about a half a second.

Preset ? After Update

My main preset is #67 Brit Pre. It sounded massive and in your face before the update to 5.01 (I was on 4.0). Now it sounds crazy bassy and muffled after I updated. I increased the mids and trebs and lowered the bass and almost sounds the same. Any tips to rectify this issue.

Yes, chord structure is G, Em, G, Bm, G, Em, Eb, F to G repeat. I love going from a minor down a half step to major.

Yes I love it. Soundwise it def have the feel and sound. It had custom bareknuckle pickups in it. I wanted a modern take on the strat. Perfect combo for me.

Its the TFX-122M-AN. Absolutely amazing. I put it up against about 10 others (QSC, Friedman, Alto, Headrush, Line 6, Gemini and various models) and it blew them away for the most part especially for a fraction of the price.

Well I was mistaken and THOUGHT I was given TRS cables and they were only cables TR Cables. Once I actually got the right cable all was good.

Hmmm well I was trying to calibrate the EV1 and its moving about 5%. I tried multiple TRS cables....its plugged into the expression port into Pedal 1 of the FC6. I guess Ill try the FM3 port when I get home. Odd

I appreciate the feedback. I was leaning towards the QSC but am hearing a lot of mixed takes on it. Im very curious about the Headrush. I know the Friedman destroys but its 1k.......not many peeps can dish out that money.

It is way easier to navigate than the 2. I hardly use Axe Edit besides importing patches. I love editing on the Axe Fx 3 screen now.

Who's Planning To "Eventually" Move Up To The III?

I will def be in sometime later this year especially if Im able to sell my Axe Fx 2 and floor MFC MKIII. I only use mine in the studio and have loved it over the last 5 years but am really excited to work on some crazy patches utilizing this new POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes a Y cable, I wanted sound out of Left and Right monitors and the Y Cable works when I plug it into my Focusrite but the if I play it sounds horrible. Could I still achieve the stereo sound if I use 2 separate guitar cords and just plug it into both inputs of my Focusrite???

MIDI Keyboard 49 or 61 keys?

I would go 49 especially since you aren't a keyboard player. I have the Alesis VX49 and its amazing. I also have GetGoodDrums mapped out to it and its really straight forward plus it fits on my desk while I work. I have a few full size pianos and workstations but the VX49 gets a lot of use...

I have yet to check if any effects are doing this but this is the only preset that does this. All of my other patches dont so its gotta be something in the preset right? I only really hear the buzz when I have headphones on while recording, but wow is it loud with them on.

I lowered the output out of both amps and it did not help. I am not clipping either. Still pretty bad buzz. Ugh, is there another effect that would cause buzzing. It only does it on this patch so its not the cord or guitar.
