Hi All, Just ordered an EH Pitchfork to try out and I am wondering the best/proper way to connect it to the AXE FX II? I have never any outboard gear/external pedals with my Axe so this is the first time hooking it up this way. I imagine the Pitchfork has to be at the beginning of the signal...

Tube Power amp through FR212

adjusting level int e amp block versus cab block

I have my amp and cab block setup so that my output is just above zero using the output level meter in the utilities and everything sounds good. Right now my amp level is set to -8db and my cab block to 0db. My question is, does it matter how you balance these to get the appropriate overall...

What's the possibility of this doing damage?

In the 3 years I have has my II I a have never done this! The other night I was messing around testing my various power amps, Matrix GT1000FX, Mesa 2:90, Fryette 2/50/2 and Fryette Power Station and when going back to my to the Matrix I was tidying up cables etc and was intending to do another...

Can the AX8 be used as an alternate foot controller for the Axe FX II?

I realize the MFC-101 provides full functionality and interaction with the Axe FX II but I literally use my MFC-101 to switch between 5 presets and toggle on and off a few effects. Could the AX8 be used as a "lite" substitute for the MFC-101 for really basic functionality? Thanks, D

using only one channel on Fryette 2/50/2

getting more volume without internal clipping

Just wondering if there is anything else that I can do to boost output volume without causing internal clipping. The high gain amp seem to have tons of output whereas with some of the cleaner amps I have to really crank to output 1 knob. I just tried the SV Bass for example, with the 8x10 SV...

Input clipping after a re-install of 12.02

After using 12.02 for awhile (which is awesome BTW) I just wanted to wipe the Axe II clean and start fresh. Ran the clean_v11.syx file, cleared out user cabs and reset all parameters etc. The thing that I noticed is that since FW 6.0 I have always have the Instru Input level in the I/O menu...

AE 3.0 following MCF-101 changes

anyone using the CLR active cabs?

I am on the waiting list (as of 4/15) for 2 CLR active cabs. I have noticed that almost everyone seems to be getting the wedges... As far as sound, I am assuming that the CLR cabs and wedges perform the same...just the form factor is slightly different. Is this a correct assumption? Thanks, D
