1st Ultra Rez Experience and I gotta say..

Agreed! I wasn't sure how dramatic a difference the ultrares would be but I definitely noticed a change immediately. Things sound way more three dimensional now. I will likely use these on all my tones! Thanks again to Cliff and FAS for giving us the first taste for free.

Trilian Bass vs buying a bass guitar

I have a bass and Trilian. I do the same workflow since I am not a great keyboard player- works well for me and I like the fact that I can edit the midi afterwards (make sure timing is tight, add in the special articulations, etc)

Kudos for including the Tuner on screen in Axe Edit. I hit the tuner button, fully expecting to have to turn and look at my Axe Fx but to my surprise and delight, there was an accurate graphical representation on my computer monitor. So far Axe Edit appears to be rock solid! Thanks again...

Check if you have accidentally automated panning to -63 on that track (this would explain why it reverts back even after you change panning). Is your automation setting on Read or off?

Are most people using the AxeFX as their output DAC?

I use a UA Apollo as my interface (very low latency). I then use the analog outputs of the Axe Fx into the inputs of the Apollo. I am able to reamp using this methodology as well (using the FX Loop block).

Cliff I have a Question regarding your recent post on TGP

This is what has me most excited about 6.0. I really like the idea that you will be able to dial in amazing tones with the page 1 parameters (but still have the option to do the deeper dive if you want to)! In particular, the approximation of real amp behavior will be a great feature.

Thank you for the tips guys. Did some experimenting based on your suggestions above. I am definitely getting closer - tweaking the frequency range and Q seemed to be particularly effective for getting closer to the sound i want. Will keep you posted as I continue to refine.
