Wish App / editor / USB for FM3

Right. Can’t connect to it without some elaborate midi over Bluetooth connection that has yet to work for me. Can’t we just connect directly via usb and be done with it? Don’t understand what the holdup is. Hell I’d pay $10-20 for an actual Fractal app that works.

FM3 Now Shipping

Ordered mine Thursday morning and shortly after I received a shipment notification, but there hasn’t been any update since. The tracking number still remains as “Shipment ready for UPS”. I know the website said there would be a one day shipping delay, but now I’m getting antsy. Lol...I upgraded...

Any EBMM owners?

I have had six EBMMS so far, still have five of them. Have had no problem with any, other than that they need a slight neck adjustment once in a while. The neck adjustment is simple though, their truss rod wheel is at the end of the neck and probably takes less than thirty seconds. I don’t think...

JP's beard has gone to epic proportions. I personally don't like it, but I'm interested to see where it goes from here. I mean, you can't just cut it, and if he were to shave it off he'd look like a young kid. So does it go to maintenance mode, or totally comical must be included in a coffee...

Volume drops off occasionally

So I've had my unit for about 2.5 years, and through this time I have occasionally experienced volume drop offs of maybe 4 or 5 db's. It's not often, but I notice it maybe once or twice a month. I'll be playing for a while and all of a sudden I notice that the volume had reduced to the point...

Sony MDR-7506 for playing with the Axe XL

7506 are great for the price. I've been using them for quite a while. The only issue that I have is trying to use them at practice. We play in a small basement so we use a mixer to go direct to headphones to get rid of the feedback. The drummer leaks through them badly so I have to go to earbuds...

Getting Petrucci's live 1992 tone

I'll probably have to wait until Thursday to try this, went to a Boston show tonight and have practice tomorrow night. The drummer already nixed Ytse Jam (lol) but I'll still try to go for the tone. We're a cover band that plays everything from Chuck Berry to Muse, so I have a lot of tones...

Getting Petrucci's live 1992 tone

I'd like to do Ytse Jam with my band, and would like to try to emulate JP's tone from the Music in Progress tour, as heard on Live at the Marquee and their Live in Japan video. Does anyone have a decent suggestion for a starting point? I'm using the EB/MM BFR 6 string along with FW 15.02...

Is there any point in buying a traditional amp after owning a II.

I have a MkV head and an oversized Boogie 4x12...haven't plugged it in once since I got my Axe 2, 1-1/2 yrs ago.....want to do some tone matches on it though. Don't think I could ever sell it.

I think the 1st is the Axe. The 2nd one sounds a bit duller to me.

Ghost!

I saw Ghost in Toronto the other night, both of the Nameless Ghouls were using Axe FX ii's straight into the board. No amps or cabs anywhere on stage. The sound was fantastic....rack up another win for Fractal!

Just a question...I've had mine for a couple of months now, have been very busy and haven't really messed around with it too much. I notice that almost any factory patch with even moderate gain is incredibly noisy. I'm getting lots of background noise, hum almost like the guitar is unplugged...
