I figured it out... I had to change one of the settings on the control panel in reaper (to input 1, rather than Axe FX MIDI OUT)... Thanks guys, it's all good now!!

Yes I did.. But i just moved the 1/4" cables that were in input 1 into input 2 and now the meter is flashing!

I still can't figure it out... I played around with the routing.. The mics are connected to the preamp ins through XLR and out into the axe fx with 1/4" cables... is this okay?

They are, but the when I arm the track and record in reaper there is no audio being recorded when I tap or play into the mics.

hmmm... I have The Axe Fx set as my interface .. Input: MIDI -> Axe Fx II MIDI OUT -> all channels.. but I'm not getting any playback in reaper..

I need help connecting a mic preamp to my Axe Fx!

I'm looking to record some acoustic guitar and I want to use the Axe as an interface... So i went out and rented an ART PROMPAII and a pair of rode NT-5's.. Now I'm just not exactly sure how to connect the ART to the Axe fx... is it possible? I'm new to recording!! Thanks guys!

How do I get my old presets back?

I'm terribly sorry if this has been asked before...but how do I get my old customized presets back after updating to firmware 7.00 and updating the preset banks? I made a backup of my Axe Fx before updating to 7.00, but when I try to send my backup to the Axe Fx, nothing happens... Thanks guys

Help with using Third Party IR's

Good idea! Basically I wasn't sending the IR to the Axe Fx, so i right clicked the IR and sent it to the Axe Fx! (FILE: Send to Axe-Fx: Changes) Sometimes I post threads a bit early :lol

Help with using Third Party IR's

I downloaded Gods Cab IR's and when I try to use an impulse under User Cabs, the little speaker symbol appears red and no sound is made when i select the IR. I'm assuming this process requires more than just selecting the IR and dragging it to User Cabs? EDIT: Nevermind, i figured it out hehehe

A question about 2 guitars into 1 Axe FX?

Would it be possible to play 2 guitars into 1 Axe FX with an amp using the 4CM method on the left and a PA monitor on the right? I was fiddling with this yesterday and couldn't get it to work, so I was wondering if this is even possible?
