Read an interview he said he used older Marshalls, then jumped to the ADA MP-3. I'd go Marshall with tons of chorus (place before amp), greenback 412 and a little rev + 300 delay with 1 slap.

Good info. I've been there, and it can take allot longer if waiting for every next gig to see how fixes go. There's things you can only estimate so much not in live situation. If you are comfy using the front panel it really isn't hard to fix basic stuff (like levels/mix/bmt) and save quickly...

If it doesn't effect CPU or conflict, I'd rather just have both tabs on all the time instead of color or knob change ideas to differentiate all in one tab... - Auth (simple, first go to choice) - Ideal (with redundent controls + extras. Just ignore entire tab if not using, or you can stay on it...

Cool. So if I ran a monitor mix into the Axe I could combine it with guitar, set levels, pan and go stereo out to IEM? This would work for me cause I don't do heavy vocs and could just have FOH give me voc back in monitor mix.

Purchased my first Axe-Fx II and looking for expression pedal recommendations

I had a Boss FV500 break a tiny screw clean off on the treadle pivot less than 6 months old. Screw end stuck in hole and couldn't remove. Its a paper weight now. Never felt it had great tracking accuracy tho anyways. Went with Mission now and so far so good.

Do you mean a Talkbox? I wouldn't want to run that back into your Axe (or any guitar amp).. Just from a mic into a PA. You would want to run the TB in between your guitar and Axe FX input. When switched on it just goes to the tube.. when off it goes to your Axe like normal

Help transferring new preset to specific bank

I just did this same exact thing today and all worked fine. I did the firmware update, then used Axe edit to delete all old presets, then used Fractal bot to stick the new A presets in B. Then just reloaded all my backed-up gig presets in A. All went good, no probs. Maybe reboot everything and...

Amp block XY Copy/Paste problem

Ahah.. I see.. All good ways to make it happen. A new Amp 2 copy/paste to Amp 1, then delete Amp 2 is what I was starting to figure.. But I really like the last method Bakerman; Copy X, then load library block, then Paste X back to Y and swap.. Thanks everybody!

How do I copy and paste an amp to Y in Axe-edit without changing the whole block? Every time I do it, it changes the whole block and I lose my X settings. This also happens when I use the Block Library... I can't figure it out. I would like to copy an amp from another preset, and go paste it...

It was set to 97. That worked!... No wah! Why would that work tho? 97 is the default. Is it my type of pedal> the BOSS FV500? That should be in big bold letters in the manual. Many thanks dude!

Positive. I have gone in and tried a bunch of options, Auto on auto off - Block on block off - PC reset - MIDI I/O settings on the axe - MIDI and setup options on the mfc... and saved the settings to see if made a difference. Nothing. I can post a preset, but it is every preset. Stock or my own...

Hmm could be cable if that happened to you. I had the cable all taped down tho and definitely didn't move around. Maybe I jumped on it, don't know. But did your MFC stay lit up and frozen, or did it turn off? I really hope it was preset. If that alone could freeze everything.

I have the MFC III and its only 2 months old so should be latest firmware. I'm using the FASLINK with it. The cable is new and fine as far as I can tell. But .. a reboot fixed things. Shouldn't be the cable.

Thank you kind sir!... Still, those descriptions weren't easy to interpret. The speed thing I get. The Position thing I figured is where the pedal switches on off, but Slow Medium Fast don't make sense there really. Maybe its just me.
