Not sure which Sennheiser you have, but looking quickly at the EW300 manual, I would check/set the "Input Sensitivity" in the Main Menu (or similar setting if you don't have this exact setting).

Yes, if the meters are peaking, that's definitely your issue then (or one of them, anyway). I'm not familiar with the Sennheiser (I use Carvin EM900s) ... perhaps it's a menu setting (?). Good luck!

Check the volume level on your IEM transmitter (rack unit). A very common issue is to have that set too high (check VU meters on front panel if you have them). You'll want to turn that down (usually somewhere between 10:00 and 2:00), and then turn up the volume on your receiver (body pack) to...

Tap=Tune ON is not working

Problem solved: I figured it out. It actually was the disabling of the tempo light fix that I mentioned. In order to get rid of the flashing tempo light, I had the IA set to "TUNER", not "TEMPO", which still gave me the tuner (and I don't use the tempo switch anyway). So I set it back to TEMPO...

my Matrix went Down Mesa 20/20 to the Rescuse poweramps sims off?

I had the power amps sims enabled when I used 20/20 and it sounded great. When I went from the 20/20 to a Matrix, I used the recommended settings that Matrix provided on their website; which I believe was only a few GEQ settings on the output (OUT2 for me). So maybe just try the reverse?

Everyone's ears are different, but the tonal difference (if any) between front and rear inputs should be even less obvious to your audience in a live setting then it would be when recording. I have a G90 and use the rear input for gigs - all the cables are out of the way and "permanently"...

I run the exact same setup , and I can always tell when I forget to turn my cab sims off, because when I do it sounds like ass :lol!. Perhaps with a lot of dialing in I might be able get a usable tone, but as it sits now running cab sims into a real cab just doesn't work for me at all. Obviously...

If you're set on a powered FRFR speaker then you don't want the GT1000FX, you probably want one of the powered solutions from Atomic or Matrix. The GT1000FX would be a good choice if you want to go into an unpowered speaker (FRFR or a standard guitar cabinet). I use the GT1000FX into a standard...

Stand for AxeFx at gig

I like this! Looks like it'll give me a little extra height and a better viewing angle. It's a little expensive, but I'm going to try one of these. I just bought one on eBay . . .

Hah - that's a great question :) . . . I had never bothered to experiment there - I've always just left it at the lowest height setting, due to stability. However, I just now went and tried it ... raising it even ONE notch definitely changes the center of gravity (you can see from the photos...

I should mention that I do need to orient the rack just a little off-center on the stand, but I am able to get direct unobstructed access to all of the rear connections I need access to (no patch panel in this rack), including power, Ethercon, OUT 1 L&R, and OUT2 L&R (and of course the power and...

Stock configuration for combo amp/cabinet: Now just pull the lock pins, pull the arms out, turn them around 180 degrees, and lock them back in - like so: The Axe still sits at a viewable angle, at a height of about lower-thigh-high:

I use this exact same stand with my 3-space Gator soft rack. I just have the arms turned around the other way so the stand is longer on the bottom and shorter in the back - works like a champ!

PSA: Patch 123 is Damaged

Maybe I'm missing something (and I'm sure I am :?), but if it's just a bad preset #123, isn't this something that would be fixed by simply re-releasing the factory presets for Bank A? I don't understand how/why updated firmware would fix this . . .

I bought some labels from Sascha. They're very good quality and he's great to deal with - you'll be very happy! The only issue for me is that he currently doesn't offer a glow-in-the-dark product, which is what I'm now looking for . . .

I'll be down for a set of glow-in-the-dark labels. The initial pricing seems really good too. I've been waiting for pedalboardlabels.com to be back up and running for far too long, and at this point I've pretty much given up on them. Will there be other designs and set releases we can look...

This is "bummer" part of FW upgrades for me. The best solution I've read here so far is taking photos of all the amp parameter screens, resetting the amp block, then going back through each page and dialing the settings back in using the photos as reference. Maybe someday in a future FW update...

I've had encoder flakiness for time to time on my Mark I since day one, mostly while turning it slowly trying to increment/decrement by one or two patches, but I can always get it to where I want to fairly quickly, so sending it back for repair never really crossed my mind. Sounds like the OP is...
