    I'm running the 6L6/EL34 combo (JJs). I've found that it tames the bottom end a bit. And I've tried various Dimarzios, EMGs, and a Bare Knuckle in this particular guitar, but nothing can touch the Duncan Distortion. It's attack and ferocity are unsurpassed in my travels.

    A fair amount of "solving the puzzle" has to rest with the end user/player. Obviously the Axe II is more than capable of providing world class results that even the most critical pros are pleased with, but given the amount of variables it's never going to be a panacea for all situations.

    OK thanks. However when I send the DI track out of my interface through SPDIF back into the Axe to reamp, the input level is much lower than the level when it comes from my guitar. Is this ok and should i then just compensate for that on the presets I am reamping through?
