SOLVED: Strange Behavior MFC III - power up to random preset

UPDATE: Installed v6.2 firmware and the power up issue has not reappeared. Powered up the AxeFx rig multiple times and everything is back to normal. Band practice tonight was amazing. So happy to have my rig behaving like it always does, providing glorious tones.

Maybe someone here can help a brother out. Noticing strange behavior with AxeFx II XL v6.1 to MFC III v3.08. When powering up, the AxeFx & MFC go through their simultaneous boot up sequence. The AxeFx finishes booting up first, and displays the last preset I was using when the device was powered...

At one of the AxeFest gatherings, I asked this question to Tosin Abasi, who was demonstrating his axefx tones. I'll paraphrase his reply. " 1 or 2 presets". :) He went on to explain that he felt he might be under utilizing the Axefx, but that he was able to get what he needed with the 1 or 2...

It's getting ridiculously easy to "roll your own" presets these days. I've been making gig worthy presets for my acoustics that are basically default blocks. A little tweeze here and there. A little nip and tuck and your in! I'm gonna try out these new bass offerings. Huzzah!

Purchased mine last Monday. RAC12 unit, MIDI cable, paypal, shipping to California = 404.50 euro. Or $431.81 Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet. I'll update if I get hit with taxes or import fees.

Why should I get a MFC 101 mark II

Seemless integration is the reason I chose the MFC. in addition, I upgraded to the MFC III for the integrated FASLINK and silent switches. Nice piece of kit!
