Firmware downgrade deletes all presets

Since I didn't really like fw 2.02 I just rolled back to firmware 2.0, this firmware downgrade deleted all my patches. Is this intentional? It is not a problem, I have everything backed up, I just reinstalled all patches, I was just a bit surprised... Axe FX II XL by the way
