Nice job! Sounds totally natural really good effort, I can't imagine you can improve too much on that patch but I look forward to hearing it if you do. The blend with bass is pretty seamless which helps, obviously ir's play a big part as well so congrats to Ownhammer on that one.

Using axe as audio interface questions

Thanks for the responses. I turned off software monitoring but I still have no control over the guitar signal inside of logic.... All is good when using the axe as an input device but it seems doing the duty of an all round audio interface is not a very elegant solution.

Set up - Mac book - usb - axe fx - genelec's (output 1 rear) Is the only way to stop out put 1 clipping on the axe to reduce the volume slider in say iTunes or the output fader in Logic's mixer? How does one go about only hearing the guitar played through Logic as at the mo I am hearing 2...

I have heard raw tones that sound unusable until you hear them in the mix where they sound epic. This seems to apply especially to hi gain tones.

Has version 6.01 messed with anyone's tone matches?

Yes , I downloaded Ola Englund patch recorded with it , next day updated 6.1 and recorded some more lo and behold it sounded noticeably different . After reading the release notes it looked fairly safe , I took the advice and set the transformer level as suggested but still a big change in tone...

Hi Steve thanks for your response . Couple of things I didn't grasp .. Input front & centre has me a little confused , never seen that as an option in logic . Also in the set up you describe does one have to plug monitors direct into the axe ? I will have a crack at it again tomorrow .
