    Same here. Using Fractal since 2007 and never had problems with heat. I've swapped the fans for quieter options, but but no overheating issues with the stock or aftermarket fans.

    That makes sense. I've always tightened the springs enough to prevent that pull up. Yup, the lazy way. All of my electrics have floating bridges. On one, I just "decked" the bridge to temporarily "block" it to make changing between tunings quicker (E standard and DADAAD in this case).

    I've probably been doing this wrong, but ... I've always just placed a single wood block between the trem block and the body on the springs side. Then, tightened the springs a bit to keep the block in place.

    Congratulations! I have the T5z Custom 12-string version and like it a lot. It's more of an electric than an electrified acoustic. The arm contour on yours is probably more comfortable than mine. It has the old knob layout, but I'm used to it.

    On the Axe-FX, I don’t think you want USB as your input. If your guitar is plugged in to Input 1, then that's what you'd select. Also, a screenshot of the Cubase inputs would help. I only see the outputs.

    Congratulations on getting your Axe-FX! You shouldn't need MIDI input or output, unless you want to send program change info to the Axe-FX, etc. MIDI note info isn't output from the Axe-FX (no audio/MIDI conversion). If you post screenshots from Axe-Edit of your input/output settings as well...

    I'm also in Colorado, at almost 7000ft. I've had good luck with my Suhr Electrics and Taylor acoustics holding their setups. The humidity varies between 40-60% in my home studio. If below 50%, I put the acoustics in their cases with humidifier packs for a few days.

    I think the OP is looking for a strat-syle guitar that's as refined as the Collings CL is compared to an LP. You're on the right track - maybe a custom Suhr with alder or ash body, bolt-on neck, etc. Or, an off-the-rack Suhr.

    You probably have to use a USB hub with your setup (no additional USB ports to connect without a hub, etc). Have you tried testing without a USB hub or a different one (maybe powered)?

    Thanks, GlennO I've been using Configuration #1 and it works really well. What I'd like to do is kind of flipped in that I'd set the "band" volume, then lower/raise the guitar volume. Sounds like there isn't a simple solution to that if not using an external mixer or audio interface.

    Sounds like you've got the latest Axe-Edit and are using the option to import a preset bundle. If you're on a firmware version that supports the preset/bundle, you should be OK.
