What Thickness for HDPE pedalboard

Good job on that case. I was looking at a smaller case but went with a slightly larger one which had wheels. It's a little bigger than my guitar cases, so a little big for a pedal board, but I'll put my tools, cords, and the normal gig necessaries. Thanks for the info!

What Thickness for HDPE pedalboard

Per Jacks reply above I'm thinking about going with the 3/4" thickness. He said he thought the 1/2" might flex a bit and he has used 3/4". I think my board at 3/4" will be about 9lbs which isn't too bad. The HDPE sheet would be 3/4"x 44" x 10" and I'll cut it down. It's $86 plus $27 shipping...

Ghosts? Anyone Ever Experience Unexplained Things?

I have a samsung TV that has turned itself on at least 50 times in the last 18 months. I did a little research and it turns out there is a little capacitor in some of these TVs that causes the issue. But I ain't gonna replace it. It used to scare the heck out of me, though.

Headphones and Atomic CLR MkII Neo

I too have the Beyerdynamic 880s and CLR and agree with ethomas1013. One thing I like about the 880s is that I can't turn them up too loud. And there is just a little too much of something in the hi end with CLRs that I don't really notice with the 880.

Boutique 1 Matchless model

I go back and forth between my suhr and a melancon. The suhr get's more gig time because I tend to like the SSH but the Melancon has got THE neck! Just perfect for me. I gave up on Fender when I had some issues with a Jeff Beck model and returned it. It did stay in tune though.

I was thinking for my tablet (that would be running some form of FM3edit and connected via bluetooth). I'd rather just have a USB cord to plug in and power the tablet too as I use it for my leadsheets and recording.

I would use the knobs on the AX8 during sound check and once in a while during a set. Same for perf page on the AXE3 and will use them when we get on the FM3. Would be handy to have power on the USB port to run a tablet in case batteries are a little low.

I think in this case the volume gain is linear and it doesn't matter if you put it before or after the delay / reverb. The net gain is the same.

I think something like a virtual grease pencil may be handy, so you could mark some or all the positions of knobs on the tab. Although I guess I could just get out a grease pencil and do it right on the screen, lol.

Both the handles and the value wheel knob too long

I was thinking you could take a heat gun to the case and push it out a little where the knob hits but don't know if that would work on that plastic. If you don't need too much it might work.

I don't believe in Daylight Savings Time. In fact I don't even believe in time zones at all. I'm 4/24 at 9:52. I think in the morning. Damn I think I've got a lot of waiting left.

Good job. I used to live in the Bay Area and learned all the Rush and Yes songs note for note up to about 1982. Went to Foothill High there in Pleasanton where your gig was canceled before. We would have gotten along great, but I've moved out of state and don't think I'll ever go back. So...

Retirement balance with the current market?

I know with all the online stuff right now, netflix, amazon, fedex / ups but is it too late? On a lighter note, I talk about cleaning up on options and I'm being taken to the cleaners with calls on AAPL, LOFL! smh.

I have noticed that in the past on at least one of my guitars and it was the same notes on the 3rd string. I don't remember which guitar(s) it was but it's not any of the ones I'm currently playing. I seemed to recall the issue also happened an octave down on the 5th string but to a lesser...

Retirement balance with the current market?

I'm usually at about 60% stocks but sold a bunch late Jan then again in mid Feb. Now it's about 20% - 25% I started cost averaging back in a couple weeks ago but decided to put that on hold for another month or so. Interested in hearing when you all think it's time again.
