Getting weird popping noise with volume down

UPDATE: changed to volume block 3 instead of 1 and it fixed it. See the second video of weirdness of volume block 1 randomly changing channel with nothing telling it to. This happens when I have the volume pedal heel down. Not sure what’s going on. Looking for another TRS cable to test that...

AX8 cab block

I saw the wiki says there's no mic modeling. Does that mean I'm the cab section you get to pick your cab and that's it? I remember when I had an ultra years back I could tell it what kind of mic was on the cab. Or is it something else altogether?

Anybody like making sound clips?

I was leaning heavily toward the kemper until I saw that not only does the ax8 have a DC30, it also has the Xotic pedals. I'd be really interested to hear them running into an edge of breakup DC30 sound. If someone has some free time and wants to get a die hard tube amp guy over to the fractal side.

A couple questions

On the DC30 model is it channel one only? If there's channel 2 does it have the six-position tone wheel? Also, how much can I put in a preset? Could I get in a compressor, drive (with XY), amp, delay (XY), and reverb (XY)? Or would that be more than it could keep up with?

Tone match my own amps

Is it pretty easy to run my amp into the axe-fx (or ax8) micing up through a good preamp and capture that sound as an IR or something and use that as an amp block?

So...when you guys switch guitars mid-set

Do you have different patches setup for different guitars (say, one for an LP, another for a strat) or are you more traditional that you'd use the same amp and pedals in an analog rig and leave it as such and just change the guitar?

volume block issue

For some reason my volume block isn't wanting to work in one of my patches. It works fine in another with the same settings, but not in this one. Any ideas? Got it resolved. Just needed everything reset in the block it seems.

Anyone else had any issues with switch(es) on the MFC?

I've had mine right around a week and a half. Paid next day air to get it here quickly. Today I got to the last run thru at church after a longer rehearsal last night. Everything was fine last night. Got here today and one of the switches no longer works. It clicks when you click it hard enough...

help with modifiers

I can't seem to get an expression pedal to modify anything. Example: I was trying to get a wah. I finally got the switch in the pedal to turn it on/off, but never could get the expression pedal to get the sweep to work. What am I doing wrong?

set autoengage for wah, it turns on phaser. went in phaser settings and removed it. Still turns on phaser, wah stays off.

anybody had a liquidfoot pro stop working while playing?

I was playing tonight in my music room practicing for the weekend and mid-song my liquidfoot just stopped working. Powered off and that's all that's happened. Tried plugging the power supply in a few different ways and nothing. Anybody else had this and it be something in the way it's plugged up?

Anybody else using the intelligent harmony?

On the setlist this weekend is eye of the tiger so for the second verse I set an intelligent harmony at a third. Put it between the amp and cab blocks. It sounds phenomenal! Who else is using these?

Bent rack ear something to be nervous about?
