Closed Boost feature for 7 strings and drop tuning guitars ( Shred switch in Mesa Boogie JP2C amp)

I usually used 6 strings guitars in standard tuning. But i have 7 strings and drop tuning guitars which require a bit of boost. It would help if Fractal can implement as I can use different with the same settings by just activating the boost just like in Mesa Boogie amp JP2C in shred mode.

Big shout out to Line 6 Powercab 212+ as an amplification solution for FM3

I'm using FM3 with Line 6 Powercab 112. I have used IRs and built in speaker sims. Both sounded great. There are 12 speaker sims in Line 6 Powercab. There are also 128 slots for custom IRs that can loaded. Powercab 212 is awesome but is a bit heavy for me to move it around.:)

The good thing of using through the FRFR speakers is that you can choose from the huge cab lists of marshall, mesa boogie etc which is endless choices.

Challenge to Axe-FX Users: Claims L6 POD HD is On Par!

I have both Axe FX and Line 6...why would you like challenge in the first place...you should know what is good for you. I have use the products for different live performances and served me well...if you suck on tweaking the product ...no difference if you axe fx or line 6....

What can axe do?

Think of what u want to do with the product your are buying if the product can do and sounds the way u want it. I have Fractal, Boss and Line 6 products. So all have pros and cons. Is there anything better than the real thing like Marshall, Mesa Boogie etc..

Take your time on the tweaks...it's already on the 19th firmware to date now...I've been on since the 1st...take note of the sound during live and recording...all the best..

Axe-Fx Timeout!

I have been having this problem until my MFC is faulty. I gave up after that. Try changing the Cat5 cable until u find a working one. I have been in that situation several times.

OK...I'm in....just ordered AXE FX II XL+ to replace Line6 PODHD500X

With proper tweaking maybe you can get the WOW factor. POD HD500X is still a good effects though. I still keep both my AXE FX II Mark I and PD HD500X including my Boss GT100. Remember the WOW depends on what speakers is going out of the AX FX II.

Axe FX2 or FX2 XL? Which is the better buy for someone new to Fractals.

For your info the upgrade never ends. I've bought the Axe FX II MK I on 2011 and have since also bought GT-100 and POD HD500X. Since then Axe FX have been having so many versions. I don't see the need to upgrade and telling myself they are much better. Your purchase don't end there, you may need...

For what its worth...i've been having the same issue you are having...until I got a proper cable that worked with it. Still on and off having issues. Now after two years of using it...it's faulty and out of warranty. I can't get it repaired and now still waiting for reply from Fractal and local...

Tried that also...same error...it's about the 1 to 5 switches..not the whole MFC...I have tried swapping the internal connectors also...it seems the 1 to 5 can't get the lights up when switching presets...

Power issues when traveling outside of the US

I'm from Singapore...been using the AXE FX II for more than a year. You don't need adaptor for your Axe FX II but just in case check your other equipments is able to take 230volts...don't forget to update me when your band is coming to Singapore...I can drop by and see...:)

Tested it out last night...Guitar Music Man JP6 straight to Axe FX II-Matrix GT1000FX-Matrix CFR12...managed to get nice clean tones on those clean amps (really nice)...nice distortion sounds on the Marshalls (especially the JVM)...heavy distortions on those Mesa, Engl etc (really damn tight &...

Anyone go from an ARt SLA2 to the matrix 1000

I would recommend Matrix GT1000FX...just got it yesterday and got it hook up Blackstar V30s cabs...I have been my using my Blackstar Series One 100 as my power amp previously but now I don't it anymore...Matrix sounds even better...

Need help on MFC-101 setup

Inside the MFC...one of the cable is loose...need to open all the screws at the bottom and sides to open the bottom cover...check the cables are connected properly...closed back and have the 8 screws back to their position...everything should work fine...
