Really nice sounds and playing, very good! I'm seriously thinking of buying a mesa mark v, because I think nothing beats the real deal. And I can use the AF2 as a effects unit :)

No worse :) In Voxengo Dc-> I use the generated sweep file as "test tone file" , and browse the "file folder", and add "my" guitar track that has been EQ Match and rendered. Sound weird ? :)

I mean if you EQ match the two clips (original and yours), and you render/bounce "your" track thrue the EQ match(with added silence). Then you use that clip with voxengo Dc, and generate a impulse respons->convert->axe-fx2. I've done this and get a resonable tone, but I wonder if I'm missing...

The IR's is usually around 11kb in size, and the presets are around 7kb. :)

You don't need to choose the exact same cab slot! Just open Axe-Manager and upload the sad but true IR to any user cab slot. Then open the cab in axe-edit , and choose the cab slot you decided to use :)

I have watched your video, great btw! I have turned the sweep file down by like -32db , Then the "popping" sound at the end of the sweep is (-3db). I'm really boggled by this pop at the end, it must be something wrong with the file... Also added x2 silence at the end. BUT have...

1) this is what I also have done, and mix the sweep and the matched eq in deconvolver. Am I missing some magic not running the sweep through the match eq? I tried running the sweep through match eq, but got a nasty pop at the end of the sweep, it clips bigtime.

I guess when you match eq, you match it also to the guitar you recorded it with...I'm thinking about the pickups. Its this correct?

GCP don't have a calibrate option, not as I know of... Maybe it's something like a voltage drooping, yes. Let's hear what Mission and GCP find out :D

Hi guys! I have a Ground Control Pro with two Mission expression pedals (ep-1). When I connect only one pedal to the gcp I get a value of 0-127, BUT when I connect the second one I only get a value of 0-125 on both. I tried soldering both EP-1 to switch polarity , but no. I tried...

The GCP is best configured for axe with: 8 IA switches and 4 Presets switches. You can use the bank up/down to access more presets . ex 0-3 , 4-7 etc Theres a youtube clip showing the config between gcp and axe-fx!

Thanks! It's work in progress. I use the "john petrucci guitar rig pt 2" on youtube to get the sound. The patch is still missing the "roundness" and crisp, I think

I have a question smilefan. What is the procedure to load patches? Is it "source->preset folder" manually direct to folder with patches, and then upload this to the Axe? What about the custum IR when i load the patch, are they already assigned to 01-50.sysx cabs, so I have to manually load...

Hello smilefan! Great thread, you are a very dedicated Axe-man. I have a noob question :) You use Redwirez a lot... If you choose a specific cabinet witch spesific mic, why do you choose a (different) mic in Axe-edit/fx ? Is it just to get the sound you want? I'm struggeling to see the logic :D

Pending review for several days
