Axe Fx II ASIO not showing up?

Whenever I plug in the USB cable it doesnt even seem to make a noise either like it usually did to show it was connecting. Its not my computer and Ive even tried different USB cables. It wont register in any of my DAWs as well so its not either Cubase or Reaper errors. I also havent been...

Great success with using pitch shifter to tune down

Ive done it using AD whammy, setting mix to 100% and taking the using the down knob by however many semitones

I dont have cubase haha. Ive been working with Reaper for years. The drums are SD2 so they will sound digital a bit but I leave it up to my drummer to mess with them since I know nothing close to nothing about the VST

make sure to check the Utility on the unit to be sure. Axe Edit did the same for me, did that and knew I wasn't gonna go crazy

Extraneous noise with high gain patches?

Nah not really, im using a BKP Painkiller and anything about about 24% gives me reds. It all depends on the pickup's output. While on my Ibby, the input needs to be about 78%

Best cabinet I.R. for Mesa 4x12 straight and Orange PPC412 Straight?

Check out Gods Cab impulses which are free and have some great sounds. Redwirez has Mesa and Orange IRs on their site and you can buy them individually for maybe $15 without having to get the whole BigBox set

For sure! Ive tweaked mine a little, but got it from Schlagdog, a member on here. 6160 Schlag.syx Schlagdog's Mosvalve V30 4x12 SM57 4.syx for the Cab IR You may have to tweak it depending on your pups and body wood, but thats about it

I dont have my 6er set up right now to go very low, and was absolutely amazed with how real it sounded and dropping it down from Drop C to Drop Bb. Any other modeler Ive ever had with a pitch shift, just didnt get the voicings to sound very convincing. Now I'm even more stoked for 6.0 to...

Thats what Ive been thinking, and I've been looking at getting rid of them for some KRK 6s As far as other music, the bass is a bit boomy and makes it hard to hear the clarity of most songs. Through my headphones, they sound a bit fizzy on the high end and can't hear the lows all that much...

Very helpful indeed, apart from getting the drums just right the only thing I want to focus on is getting the track louder without having it clip. The mix itself is pretty basic, just having the guitars around -6dB peak, and double tracked around -8 ish. As far as the rhythms defeating each...

Pondering monitors and am just confused which way to go. Advice??

The 1521 tends to have too much boomy action going on. at 1221 would be more suited for most venues imo. But don't jump straight to Mackie's either, look at reviews to really find whats best. From what I've heard, new Mackie's are teh suck
