First you need to convert all the wave files to ultrares syx to use it in Cablab. You can do this in Cablab. Look at the exact file names that i used. You can see them in the picture i´ve posted. The link to the cab that i posted is exact the one i used.

I have bought your Cab Pack 7 already, but what i can say from now is that your IRs sounds a bit nasal. But i havent heard the complete package until now. What i miss in this package is a dark SM57 record like JP do. Or have i missed it?

Thanks bro! Your tones and playing are also amazing! Man i´m so excited about the G3´d IIC+. I think DT is in the studio and it would be so awesome when Fractal do a IR of Mr. Petrucci´s miced cab. I´ve not found an IR of a Mesa 4x12 miced with a Shure KSM313.

I like the fatter cab for playing / practicing but in the mix it's a lot easier to handle the oh. Especially to get the drums / snare tight. Btw Steven Slate drums plugin is the shit!

Ah ok. The preamp in the jp13 makes the pickup a bit aggressive, depends on the settings. I like them a lot in my Ibanez. Awesome pickup for my taste.

Thanks! Yes i used my jp13 for that. I like the pickups better than the crunchlab and liquifire in my jp6. Also in my 7 string they are sounding very good. The pickups sound definitely a lot more open and with a bit mor presence. Are you planning to buy these pickups?

Just a little test of the new stock 4x12 Recto Mix UR. It sounds very different to the Petrucci mix cab which i like to use but also great. It works really nice in a mix. Ah and testing my new Steven Slate Drums. What do you think about the tone?

Thanks! It´s the 4x12 Petrucci V30 Mix #108 in the Axe-Fx II. This preset is for a 6, so for my 7 i decreased the bass and increased the overdrive of the amp a bit. And the gate is also a bit increased.

I´ve testet the Sterling JP´s and the neck is so much thicker than the real ones. If you like the thin necks on 7 strings I would buy the real ones or the Ibanez Premium loaded with Illuminators.. ;) Oh yes the leads are out of tune..

Finally after years of tweaking, I started with the Axe-FX Ultra in 2009 and got the Axe-Fx II in 2011, that is the sound I had in my head. I always had the problem when i switched to my headphones it sounded thin and fizzy(beyerdynamics DT 880 pro). IT´S OVER :D :D Update: The preset ;)

Yeah I have a JP6 and I have my eyes wide open for a JP7.. :D I´ve ordered the Illuminator7 PU´s for my Ibanez. Very excited about this!

After 4 hours dialing in presets with 8.01a, i updated to 9.0 and baaaam. The balls are back but in a more defined way. It´s like a higher resolution. It sounds great and the dynamics are really great now. I had no problems using Axe-Edit on Win7 via USB until 8.01a, but with Firmware 9.0...

The RW Big Box is great, but so many files. Takes alot of time to explore. I found out for me that i´m using the 3-5 inch IRs most of the time. Checkout the MesaV30 SM57 CapeEdge 3in as a mono cab and use in the eq tab of the amp the tpyical V setting. You can see my eq settings in the presets...
