    Thanx,. I was working from AxeEdit. I was able o export from the AxeFx screen. I noticed a minor difference in the sound between the TM and the export ir. I found some info about phasing & will hafta spend some time playing with the settings.

    I downloaded a patch from Axechange. The patch has a TM block instead of a cab. How do I export the TM as a Cab? When looking at the TM in AxeEdit, there doesn't seem to be an export option. I've looked through the wiki and searched the forum.

    Maybe you could use a crossover block befor the fx loop. Send the lower freqs straight to the cab or another cab(could even be a mono cab to save processor), send the higher freqs to the Mimiq. this will help with low end loss. I would set the crossover point at about 110hz, then adjust to taste.

    I hear something that sounds like a pitch shifter with at least 2 tracks. I would use the custom pitch and pick it out one note at a time.

    Without more info, I would say that those melts probably came from another fixture, could be one of yours or something that a venue had. Under the right conditions, even a LED can produce a focused beam that will melt plastic.

    I just hear note and a little reverb behind it. Are you running through an frfr speaker? Did you record the sample direct into your DAW? The reason I'm asking is that if you are hearing the "squeal" though an frfr cab, then it could be the tweeter.

    I've used old strings to "floss" the nut when having this problem. Flossing also helps polish the slot for smoother string movement.

    I would suggest both. Learning a solo note for note will help you play that solo, but working on scales & modes will help with improvisation and assist with learning solos and build confidence.

    bit of a problem

    I had a similar issue, sometimes just a blank display with backlight and sometimes hanging at the Fractal splash. I looked at all of the usual suspects, xlr cable between FASLink and MFC and cat5 between AxeFx and FASLink but it turned out to be a faulty voltage regulator in the MFC.
