    No I just use the effects loop. I have it on the same pedalboard as the fx8 so the cabling is tidy and you've the 2 channels and boost at your feet.

    I've downloaded fx8 edit from the link in the forum post using chrome, firefix and Internet explorer and uninstalled and rebooted between each time and fx8 edit won't launch any time. It only launches if I download it from fractalaudio's downliads page.

    This is how I set up when using pedals and an amp. I'd have a clean boost always on (ehx soul food) and then use at least 2 different drives together depending on what's called for. 4 drives would be great and exactly what I'd need. Apart from that I'm loving the fx8.

    I just got a new american deluxe strat plus and the tremolo arm points up at about 40 degrees from the body. This makes it very uncomfortable to use. By doing this to the bridge it will fix my problem and add something extra to the guitar. Good find. Thanks.

    Once you've saved them on your computer and you've connected the axe-fx to the computer via usb, use fractalbot to transfer them. You can demo them on the preset you are currently on and if you like them save them to the axe. If you don't save them, they'll be gone once you change presets.
