I just updated to Quantum 2.0 from the 1.6 and now , finally, I can hear a warm compression on the amps. Great job. I hope in next firmwares there will be a new insert FX Amp Loop Block to put effect between Preamp and Power amp without using Two Amp Blocks. Thanks to Fractal Team !!!

Mastermind Gt has the possibility to use several IA pages (but it has also the mini LCD displays that change instantly the IA names ). I think that MCF 101 could have two pages of IA. It would be enough a double name label ( for example Drive/Synth) across each switch.

They have completely different approach : Tube vs Solidstate. I think with Matrix the versatility should be at the maximum level, but it's also more hard to configure if you haven't the right competences.

Axe-Fx into power amp and cab sounds like cardboard, what's up ?

Try to set low the Negative Feedback and close the Presence. Then adjust the Master Volume and the Tone Stack.. If you desire more low end, work with the Graphic Eq ; otherwise you could set high the Depth parameter ( but it works better with the Negative Feedback set to high value ).

Very interesting product. I have both Axe Fx II and Line 6 Vetta. Vetta has not the flexible routing and effects of the Axe Fx but is still a monster amp (after 14 years).

The Uad Softube Plexi sounds very similar at the Plexi of the Vintage Amp Room that has a nasty compression when cranked at maximum (or with high level of presence and treble).
