    The Mission Gm12 2x12 cab is much better, I have found. Sold the Friedman's . And it weighs the same as one Friedman asm 12. A bit bulkier but I'm not going to move it. Happy camper now.

    I do it sometimes and it sounds great. I use either a Vox AC15 or Fender Princeton as the dry amp. It is glorious.

    Good little modeling unit with FX8?

    As I was looking at the Yamaha THR 100HD I was told that it does have a stereo effects loop even tho there is only 1 in and 1 out. It is a TRS plug if you want to use it in stereo. Then you have to use the software to set it up in either parallel or series with the amps.

    I had a pair of these with a sub and sold them. They would get boxy sounding when pushed .I went and bought Friedman ASM 12 and haven't regretted it. Yes, its heavier but the sound , to me at least, is fuller , punchier, better to my ears. To me they are worth the weight. Peace.
