Correct EQ for FRFR speakers with FM3

Most people when they hear music through a system that is truly flat think it is thin (lacking bass) and lifeless (lacking highs). Most people have gotten used to hearing music through systems that hype the bass and treble because they sell more systems that way. If you think the music sounds...

Tele: to upgrade or to trade up, that is the question

I think you should take your Tele into the store where the CS Tele is and compare them unamplified. This gives you a pretty good clue to the comparative tones of the two. Who use always the same IR in every preset?

I use a Tone Factor 2x12 Greenback IR for 98% of my presets. Changing IR's seems to change the basic character of the sound and makes different presets hard to balance in the mix, and makes for too varied of a tone. I think back to the days when people only had one amp for everything live...

    Buzzing Noise on Guitar Tones

It sounds like you might have a compressor in your signal chain before the amp block. If so, it will boost the output to the amp as the guitar signal decays. So, you might want to try using the compressor in the amp block, or put a compressor block after the amp and speaker and see if that helps.

FRFR sounds great. FOH sounds bad.

A few more enemies to cutting through a mix: Too much reverb or delay, and too much gain. Distortion gets lost in the hash of all of the instruments. As noted on the Kinman site, it is important to note the difference between hum and noise. Kinmans are not noiseless pickups, they are hum-free pickups. FM3 DI Troubleshooting

There are different types of UPS. The most common and cheapest one is Offline.
