Let me clarify my statement. I don't think the Cab packs should be free. I'm ONLY talking about being able to have the IRs that are already on the Axe-FX so I can use them in Cab Lab in my DAW.

Thanks for the reply. No adapter. Yes, tried multiple headphones that I know are working. Yes, turned up Output 1 knob. Yeah. Could open it up. Hope it doesn't come to that. I should have mentioned that I hear the output on the AES/EBU digital output.

I'm thinking they are probably tone matching from the album so even with the preset it wouldn't be the same. In the videos for the songs in the studio they had every guitar amp, cab, pedal imaginable and I didn't notice any Axe-FX so I'm assuming they only use it for live.

I have almost all of the OH libraries and Cab Lab so they are all converted to UR. I'd love to see a Cab Lab recipe for this cab since I don't want to rebuy the OH IR's in the Cab Pack.

+1 but why not do it in the Bay Area? That is where the most users (myself included) by far reside (as far as I know). And you mentioned Central Valley and TRUE N.CA so the Bay Area is more centrally located.

I left the boat on FW11, about to comeback, need advice!

I haven't used an Ultra in a long time and found my Axe-FX 2 superior right away but I can say the improvements in the Axe-FX 2 from FW 11 to FW 15 have been drastic.

Power conditioner, yes or nay?

I have one but I don't have a power amp or wireless so it is a no brainer. It helps keep everything patched up, plus the rack lights do come in handy.

What is the best advice to all axe owners?

Tweak the patches you use for your situation. Stay on top of the updates and new IRs. I have songs I tracked not that long ago that already I wish I could redo because my tones now are better. Dial in 1 new patch per day/session. Check out other user's presets. Keep it as simple as possible.

Changing scenes with FCB1010?

The Eureka is configured out of the box and has videos that show exactly how it works. It has everything I would need although I didn't see a tap tempo function. I'm sure changing the chip is a piece of cake.

I'm sure this varies dramatically by user, guitar, playing style, material, etc. I have a similar perception of the stock presets for me and they usually aren't usable out of the box. I always tweak them or start from scratch. There are also a lot of good presets on the forum and Axe-Change.

It's not difficult if you have light. I always have Axe-Edit running on my Macbook. You shouldn't need to do much tweaking during a show. BTW, a lot of people on this forum praise the FCB1010.
