Convolution reverb & higher sample rate?

According to this marketing sheet i suppose that the AXE III could have the support of convolution reverbs which also can be useful if you want to process 1 sec IRs. Higher sample rates could improve the quality too, first of all by increasing the bandwith of the low path filter (input).

IR's converter to EQ

I think that it would be useful to have a window's tool which gives to you the settings for the EQ bloc.(or the possibility to convert an IR bloc into an EQ bloc with the Axe-Fx) Sometimes EQ works fine for amp matching and it is more easy to share.

Sustain effect

One of the big + of the Axe II is the fact that it has a better sustain IMO. The notes ring more than for the ultra and it's more musical. I wonder how i can reproduce this phenomenon by using an effect with my Ultra. I want to increase the sustain of the amp block. Any idea?

Too much sauce

I'm quite happy with my modded Ultra but i find that i have too much "sauce" with high gain models. I'm talking about using the Ultra with a poweramp into a real cab. So i would like to know what kind of setting you are using to avoid this? I found that using lowest SAG= 0.4 helps.

Reference file saved?

I think it could be useful to save the reference file with the tone match into the preset. I would like to keep the capture of my amp into the preset so i can do several tone matchs later. (by using different amp's blocs or different guitars)

IRs sound great at 96khz and more.... I just tested a Mytek and i agree. Good IRs give their best at 96khz or more. With lower rates it sounds digital. I don't know why.

Amp voicing neutral

I wonder if the neutral voicing is really neutral. This functionnality make me think to the tone matching where all choices would be in fact a tone matching (eq with IRs). If this is the case i would like to have the option "voicing = no voicing" to be able to process my own tone matching IRs...

The God's Cab : Impulse Responses 1- God's Cab 2- Kalthallen 3- Ownhammer/Redwire The test :_load a clean preset then switch between your favorite IR and a God Cab IR. Be careful they have a lot of low end.IMO we are close to top notch IRs. Please donate, they deserv it.

Is the inverter phase tube included into the poweramp part?

It should be of course but it's not good. When i use the Axe with a tube poweramp i shut off the poweramp section into the Axe. For many amps (plexi) a lot of overdrive comes from the phase inverter tube at high gain level. When i shut off the poweramp section i remove this part of overdrive and...

Axe-Fx II IRs ported on Standard and Ultra?

FAS has bought the right to use them. (Redwire and Ownhammer) Why not port them in place of the stock IRs of the Standard and the Ultra?(ofc in 1024) It's of course doable. (how to make a poll?)

4 cab blocks with the Ultra?

I want to be able to use custom microphone IRs with custom speaker cabs. I can do it only one time today so i'm wondering if the boss will release in the future a firmware that support the use of 4 cab blocks into the Ultra. (or just set one user IR for microphones into the cab block)

User IRs for Mic IRs...

There are many Mic's IRs on internet that can't be used because there is no dedicated space.(or you have to use 2 cabs, one for the Mic's IR) It would be great to have 5 empty users spaces for Mic's IRs.

Amp output level..

I don't know why amps have different "output level". Just by turning the type button you've got different output level even if nothing change in the advanced parameters. I would like that they have almost the same output level.

Tight switch option...

I would like to see a tight switch option in the power amp section. There is one in the Rebel20 and it works pretty well. It gives easily more accurate saturations. Why in the poweramp section? Because it seems to be implemented there in the Rebel, it works even if i plug the axe in the effects...
