    I can work something up for you. I agree the mags MUST be TB'd. I'm very disappointed with the noise this system generates. For a long time I didn't notice it since always had a gate in my chain. Two customers in the same week pointed it out to be back in December.

    Technically it doesn't 'need' it in order to work. I would be caught dead using piezos w/o a preamp to add some body to the signal. I've tried in an experiment and IMHO the results were less than satisfactory. Piezos are very high impedance and should be preamplified and buffered.

    Indeed. They all have been. However, this one certainly seems to be the most gamechangiestest FW ever. Cliff did post a somewhat high gain clip of an EVH riff. It sounded pretty spongy and wicked. Not high gain by most high gain players standards though, but FAS always delivers.

    I mostly use PEQ blocks before the amp to boost or cut certain freqs. For my heavy sounds I use the dynamically modified HP filter trick found in the wiki. It REALLY tightens he low end on super high gain metal sounds.

    I sort of liked the bass honk. It cuts through in a gritty sort of way. I do think that the guitars should be high passed, maybe around 110-130Hz at a gentle 6-12dB/oct and let the bass handle most, if not all of the bottom. Really cool tone and riffage too!!! I want more!!!
