Matrix 1000FX Volume Control

I've been running the matrix full out and using the Axe-Fx to control the volume. Wonder if running the Axe-Fx full out and using the matrix to control the volume would be better. Its just easier to turn one knob instead of two. The matrix does sound better with knobs passed 1 o'clock.

Matrix 1000FX Volume Control

Whats is the best way to control the volume. Both knobs all the way up on the matrix and control volume from the Axe-Fx OR turn the Axe-Fx output volume all the way up and use the volume knobs on the matrix to control output volume?

PXB2-2k5cx Crossover

Since it the easiest I'll try Mick's bypassing the upper resistor first and see if it gets me close to what I'm looking for... more mids and brighter high freqs. Thanks guys!:encouragement:

Anyone know if there is any way to increase the volume of the high freqs. of the PXB2-2k5cx crossover board? Just not loud enough highs from the Beta-12CX and Eminence asd1001 driver combo.

Tone Matching Block?

Tone matching my fender custom vibrolux reverb amp. I'm using the Fender Vibroverb amp block. Is this correct amp block to use....is there a better one? Is the vibrolux and vibroverb are the same amp or close enough?

New Amp Models?

OK I see them now. I was using axe-edit v315 NOT v317. I thought when I when it said firmware v7 it would have the amps and other goodies. Didn't know they came from the axe-edit program. Thanks!!

Axe fx firmware screen under utility say version: v7.00. Axe-Edit says Status: Axe-Fx: 7.00 : ID=00 01 74.

New Amp Models?

I just got my axe fx 2 checked firmware says it version 7 BUT why don't I see the new amp models like Division13 CJ, Spawn Fastrod etc...? I also don't see the new Zen Master & Esoteric RCB under drive block. Is there another update I have to load besides the axefx2_7p00.syx file?

Amp sound doesn't clean up?

When I turn my guitar volume knob down the sound won't clean up like a real tube amp does. I'm using a marshall amp sim is this normal?? I just got the ultra a few days ago and was hopeing it would replace my hughes & kettner zentera which does clean up like a real tube amp when I turn the...
