Kemper Profiling the Axe (standard)

Just to clarify, I am an Axe 2 owner and may have not explained it very well. I was actually asking if our Axe2's with the upcoming tone matching feature will be able to capture 'profiles' from other profiling amps like the way the KPA does in the video.

yea guys it was FRFR (studio monitors). Using my JP6 too, so yes you'll need to drop some of the top end if your using a strat :)

My first Axefx 2 Recording

I'll upload the patch when i get home. It's very simple though, just basically | amp | cab | delay |. Once i've got it to where im happy, then i'll add in the rest of the effect blocks to be used with my MFC.

Just got mine and plugged it in :D it is so much richer, fuller and much more responsive than the ultra (mines only on fw:1 - wait till I upgrade to fw:2 tonight!) I'm simply blown away!

I sold mine on on the weekend for $1920... but you could probably get a few hundred more for one. Just depends on how many 2's become available in Australia and how the Aussie dollar goes.

Trying some Timmons tone

Timmons uses a lonestar or a stiletto deuce mostly. They're characteristics are much closer to a fender type amp than a mark 4. Try using one of the fender sims with the bb and see how u go.

At a guess i'm thinking it would be similar to the current price of an Ultra. What worries me more-so is the wait time before we are able to get out hands on one. I waited almost 3 months for my ultra last year and 5 months for my MFC.

Anyone Know Exactly what is going on with MFC in Australia?

5-Pin at the moment, but will probably by a Rocktron 7-pin and power it from my rack. Shame it doesn't fit in a 2U, I really would have liked to be able to carry all my gear around in 1 rack that wasn't insanely large. I'll either have to sell my rack and buy a larger one - either a 6U or an 8U.

Studio monitor users - I need your opinions

I've been using the Dyn 5A's with the dyn 10in sub at work for years now, they are simply amazing. You can listen to them all day long without your ears getting tired. I wouldn't ever mix a full album on them alone, however for 'affordable' near-feild monitoring I don't think I'd buy anything...

Well I know what I'm doing as soon as I get home from work... Trying to match his tone and settings as closely as possible. This is a really good reference of what his actual tone is like, before its either mastered or combined with the rest of DT. Great find! :)

Australia sucks for music gear PERIOD. I just baught a EBMM JP6 from the US for just over $2000 AUD, however if I buy one from an Aussie music store they tip the scales at over $5000 with the options, so I hardly think the markup on an Axefx anything out of the ordinary. Andrew and the guys from...

Has anyone in Europe got the MFC yet ........

I'm in Australia, but I know that Fractal Audio was having to wait on their CE Complience before they were able to export the MFC's worldwide. Mine should be arriving here in Aus in about 3 weeks.
