New Friedman Amp might be a cool addition to AXFX II

I just saw this Friedman Signature Amp. I wonder how different it is from the other amps available for the AXFX and if it would be a welcome addition since the other Friedman amps are so popular. Just a thought. It might be old news, but it was new to me! Ha!

Just a thought, but the FX loop on my Engl E670 has a mix control (which they call balance). You could be sending a mix of dry and wet signal through your FX loop and your settings may make it seem like there is little control with the volume on the Axe FX II. Your amp may have a similar type...

I think this would be a great addition. I think it would help me understand and visualize the functions more clearly, just as Axe Edit does with the Axe FX. It would be cool if updates could be handled without connecting MIDI cables to the MFC as well, but no big deal.

So I installed the drivers on my Windows 7 machine, and everything worked. I still get the same errors and messages from the Axe control panel, but I was able to go into Cubase and see the Axe and record with it. Hmm... I'm guessing that it is a problem with my PC. Shocker! I'll keep trying...

Primarily acoustic guitarist looking for guidance....

Nice guys!!! Great thread!!! I've really been thinking about this for some time now. The discussion on pickups seems to be the next hurdle. The M1 sounds great. I was thinking of getting an Ibeam but now I'm not exactly sure. Thanks for the info from a forum lurker!!!

USB Coming Soon?

I agree that an addition of a USB port or extra MIDI ports would be great for the next models of the Axe. I have mine connected with a MIDI splitter so that I can use the MFC101 and Axe Edit at the same time, however the added ports (whatever they may be), would make life much easier. The...

No sound from output 1

OK. I'm realizing that I am the only one responding to my own thread, but hopefully I can provide information that might help others. I found that if I unplug the MIDI cable from my computer to the Axe, everything works normally. This is great, but I am currently waiting for a 5 to 7 cable...

No sound from output 1

Update: Whenever I unplug the MFC101, everything works fine. I'm not sure what's causing this, but any help on the matter would be fantastic.

I am probably just missing something, but I am getting no sound from output 1. I just recently upgraded my Axe FX Ultra to 10.5 after recieving my MFC101 through an M-audio Midiman 2X2 anniversary edition with no errors using Axe Edit. If I copy output1->output2 everything works just fine...

So...which 7 pin midi cables work??

best tronics If you are looking for a 5 to 7 pin MIDI cable, then best tronics has the following: http://best-tronics.com/guitar-cable/MIDI/midi57.aspx I would still suggest them for a true 7-pin MIDI cable, but I have good luck with my rocktronics 7 pin midi cable.
