Bug? Midi CC does not respond

When i assign function using external controllers - everything is normal. But when i try to use controllers assigned in i/o menu - learn and CC doesn`t work. IN DAW midi monitor shows message, Midi indicator on AXE FX is flashing, but even in OMNI channel mode - no response. AXE FX II, 9.04.

Axe-Edit 3.13.2 Released

With this version i got a strange behavior: When i try to change f.e output signal value on block using mouse wheel, one step turn gives 10db value change. It was not so in previous version. Now i can make changes only using Ctrl key, using mouse wheel gives jumps in values...

It happens just by switching one of the cabs in stereo set. Sounds exactly like CPU overload, but nothing actually happens - just switching the cab. With other cabs it works well immediately after switching.

Strange tik-tik sound

On every beat of metronome something produces clicks inside of processor... on every patch. This appeared only today. Latest firmware. Sounds like metronome sound licking even being off. Also every turn of a knob produces clicks.

Yup. It is easy. The trick to get even delays was to use multiband comp after delay. Amp - cab - delay - multiband. AC20 Dlx Treb + f098 Vibrato king mix Mono tape 1/16 dot 55% Thats all

WOW! Cliff, you are genious! Even without considering the tone... all of my presets now consume basically 10% less CPU!! Also subjectively perceived latency is less.... NONE...

Need advice: Upgrade MarkII to XL or buy a second one?

Guys, i need more cpu power and capacity for fx. New features like preamp saturation, dynamics in amp are GREAT. I wanted this so long. New reverbs are AWESOME. But... they al consume cpu. I need both of reverbs and multidelay in my ambient patches... so i think what to do... Will upgrade to XL...

OK. i made a test again. I recorded clean guitar in a DAW then sent same loop through analog output --> instr input in AXE FX. Then recorded processed signal from SPDIF input. Result - identical :)

For me problem also when i switch to internal sync wich is ok, Axe send something that causes reperirive clicks. It sims that it still try to sync and it is a couse... at least if there was an option to turn of sync completely...

There is only one thing that always brings troubles to me - SYNC... I use RME UC interface, AXE FX goes through SPDIF input. If syncronisation to spdof is turned off (set to internal) then i get regular clicks caused by infinite attempt to sync. INput monitor alters^ sync-lock, sync-lock... If...

i started to experiment with a great success! We have a WONDERFUL customizable TUBE amp for vocal and much more. Here is a fragment of my home prefomance last night. I was singing about an hour :) sounded great. Will continue. SORRY link was broken

When i was tweaking quad chorus, probably when i somehow touched feedback Axe went to Exess CPU usage state and even when i changed preset and again tryed this block AXe rebooted itself.

i experimented abit. I found a good tip about getting clean low end. FILTER IT in the beggining. Bass should sound midrange before amp. All lows should come from CAB proximity + AMP bass and depth controls. Much clearer now.

GEQ improvement

I wish ability to select several bands with CTR pressed and be ale to move them simultaniously. Also adding SHIFT should perform suttle tuning (movement by smaller divisions).

What i could say... even though this release is not focused on FX improvements.... effects sound musch better :) AMAZING..i cannot stop playing.. something is solved that previously caused me to tweak and tweak knobs.. NOW I STOPPED :)

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!WOW It sounds like some muddiness is gone and tone became transparent. Attack improved vastly...So funny i really thought it cannot be more real... IT IS MORE REAL :)))

Scotty Moore sound and Rockabilly amps!

I imitated such a sound just by adding delay block between amp and cab (with a short delay and low feedback. Tape delay or Analog delay). Also Messing with cab + advanced parameters help. I`m also interested in topic. Will track it :)

Drive block problem [NOT A BUG]

When i choose preset from preset menu for Y drive block - X mode drive type also changes and vice versa.

Gallian Kruger Amp+UltraRes (bass cabs+TM)+Darkglass BK7 TM

We need to add this to Bass preset project (Other instruments section on forum)! It should be included in official pack! Seriously. OMG i`m so happy now.. i rhought my bass cannot sound like that... 210 mix5 + 212 sm57 2 Preset is for passive bass
