    I have $1600 to spend on an acoustic

    +1 on Breedlove, I've owned their Atlas, & Pro series, both outstanding for the price. I currently on an SJ 250AE 12 string thats simply awesome......Not a big fan of Taylors. Martins are fine, but I find abit 1 dimentional. Breedloves do well in rythem, leads, arpeggios, & fingerstyle... IMHO
