    That helps me understand. While I don’t have enough information to make that call, I’ve noticed that some SICs have multiple peaks and valleys that aren’t accounted for by the available parameters, and some don’t. That would suggest that there’s something additional going on.

    No. Well, yes, you can use a Humbuster cable for that if the actual jacks are atlas, but you won’t get any humbusting effect from it. For that to work, you need an Output jack that has Humbuster circuitry built in. Your guitar doesn’t have that.

    The hum and noise on high-gain signals is usually junk that’s comIng in through your guitar. You can test this by removing your guitar cord from your FM3 and seeing what happens to the noise.
