Health Supplements. What are your favorites?

#1 on my list is 1000mg of fish oil per day. I have low HDL naturally and over time the fish oil supplement has steadily increased it over time. Niacin only got me in the 31-35 range. The Fish oil raised it to 45 within the next few years (40+ is the target).

What Prompted You To Buy A Fractal?

If I remember correctly I saw a video about the Axe-Standard and was interested in learning more. By the late 90s I had already decided to give up amps for modelers because I wanted more variety and less weight to haul around. I went though L6 Pod, Boss GT-6, then GT-8. I also had the Roland...

What was your first Digital Modeler?

If I remember correctly my first experience with digital amp/speaker modelers was the Roland VS-880. As for modelers that were for performing it was the VG-88 and then the L6 POD. Axe FX-II Mark II vs AX8

I own a Mark II and an AX8. I use a GCP to control the Axe Fx II. I can tell you that controlling the AX8 is more versatile and easier to use out of the box than a 3rd party pedal. The most important question is what kind of amp, cab, and fx chain do you use? Will the AX8 have enough CPU for...

No. I hooked mine up to my Ultra just to see if I could make it work. I could use it to call up presets but that's it. The best use I could make out of the GT-8 was to insert the AxeFX as an amp+cab only and then get the effects from the 8. I quickly decided that I'd buy a midi pedal board .
