Axe FX sounds better after a few minutes?

I feel this way as well. I've always chalked it up to playing real amps and then going back to the Axe. Just takes my ears a few moments to understand again.

It's finally time to say goodbye to my pedals.

Don't sell it off. You'll regret it. I did exactly that after I bought my Axe Fx standard. Thought I'd never use pedals again. Or amps for that matter. I bought them all back for more money :( I love both. Don't choose one, choose both.

Yeah, it wasn't the greatest. I turned back to playing my amps more so it wasn't at a total loss. But I knew what it "used to" sound like and I just couldn't get there again. Was losing trust in my ears.

AXE 3 push 600 ohm headphones ok? (Beyerdynamic DT 880)

Thinking about getting some new cans and am looking at the Beyerdynaminc DT 880's. They come in 32, 250, and 600 ohm. Would love to go the 600 ohm route but don't want to have to use a headphone amp. Any experience with these cans or if you think the AXE can push these to decent levels? Thanks

[FIXED] 12.07 astable LFO, noise explosion

I only have trouble with Simeons ambient patches. It’ll do it on most of them after playing each of them for a few seconds. I’ve deleted and reinstall stalled them 3 times. Tried uploading directly and via fractool. Totally bricks the unit. I have to turn off and on again to get it working...

Yep, mine did it (still does it) on a couple of Simeon's ambient patches. I figured it was a corrupted preset or one that didn't translate from FracTool correctly. Does it do it with the same patch if you try again?

Sat down to play today and everything sounded awful. Like the treble on 10 and no bass. Just really bad. ....then I realized my wah (which is set to auto) treadle had fallen down and turned my wah on. Duh. Everything is great again and I'm loving this new firmware.

Three EV-2 pedals loses mechanical calibration and my solution (HELP PLZ)

Having a similar problem where every now and then I’ll sweep from toe down to heel down on my ev (volume) and the volume doesn’t turn down at all. Makes for an awkward volume fade in. Is this behavior what you are also referring to?

Playing through FRFR in the same room as a real amp

It's definitely different but can be better IMHO. I play through my Axe III and my son plays through a Goodsell Deluxe Reverb tube amp and if I build a preset by myself it never mixes with the tube amp. But if I build/tweak it while he's playing I can dial it in nicely. AND, I don't have...

Been messing around with the looper through my FC-12 and notice that at the beginning of each measure of the loop I can hear a static noise that would be exactly when I press the switch to start a new loop. I tried UNDO but it doesn't go away. Thoughts on what to try? Thanks

I'm getting the same error code when I try to load Bank B. I've rebooted everything connected multiple times to no avail. Bank A uploaded fine, but Bank B gets to 98% every time then pops up the error code.

Warning about big preset loads in the lower 90%

I've always thought 90% was a weird number to not exceed. Seems like 100% would be more logical with fewer questions and concerns from the user base. The 90% to 100% dead range seems to confuse a lot of folks. If someone gets to 90% they naturally think they have 10 more percent to go. Just...

Making the Most of the FC-6?

I'm sure the limits are real close or the new hardware wouldn't be necessary. That's what happened from the Standard to the Ultra to the II.

Ernie Ball VP Jr. with a weird volume notch mid throw

I'm using it as a volume pedal thru my MFC so I guess technically it's being used as an expression pedal. If that's the case, is there any way to use this pedal through the MFC? Thanks

Ernie Ball VP Jr. with a weird volume notch mid throw

I have a EB VR Jr. 25k thats giving me this strange volume notch. Basically the volume swell is nice and even up to just about halfway, then as I continue the throw of the pedal it seems to stop increasing the volume then it hits a "bump" or "notch" and it jumps up to the correct volume level...

i also noticed on my mkII that when you double click a block it doesn't toggle it on or off. i have to right click and mouse over to "engage". this is no bueno... thanks for looking into it.

n00b having issues with Garageband

i have this same delay with Logic, Garageband's big brother. It'll track along perfect then all the sudden there will be a 1 second or so delay. The only fix is to restart Logic, which sucks mid session.
