Thanks Birdy. I will have to check again about the details. It used to work fine I guess. Not sure when this started happening. I also updated the firmware of AxeFX and maybe that helped fix things. I will check with XLR again. :)

Something strange has happened lately. I am not sure when it started but I see Axe FX as output on my System Preferences but then when I select it, I can't hear the computer audio from the axe fx. The input is fine. Anyone encountered this problem before? I also tried reinstalling the driver but...

Mavericks Freezing Axe Fx ?

I reinstalled the drivers and firmware/axe-edit and default presets as well.. So far, it seems to be working pretty well, no freezes. Thank you all for your responses. Hopefully, this if fixed. :)

Hmm... Everything else has been working great. I have seen an improved battery life too. :) The only thing that is troubling is the Axe FX at this point.

Hi Guys, I recently upgraded to OSX Mavericks and today I turned on Axe FX after along time. I am on Version 11.05. I have connected the USB cable but no Axe Edit or Fractal Bot is Up. After couple of minutes of playing, the Axe FX freezes on me. I can still play but none of the buttons work...

Mission sp1 straight into axe fx II ... nothing happens !!

Click the I/O button -> CTRL page -> select Ext CTRL1 option and press ENTER. It will say LEARNING... Press the pedal up/down so the Axe learns its values. After that, it will start working.. Wah Wah :)

Logic Pro or garage band with axe fx 2

Garageband is simple and easy. Its powerful and FREE too. Axe FX II works just fine with Garageband. Unless you want some really high quality audio for movies and stuff and you need more features, I say just use Garageband. :)

What happens when we hit FW11 ? (Axe FX III)

I think Axe FX III should contain just one screen and one scroll and probably on/off switch on the front.. One screen would be touch screen so you can tap and then scroll the real knob, nothing real than tweaking over at the screen.. even AE makes it hard with a mouse. How easy can it get? :)

SOLO100 Lead has been my favorite preset on v10 and I have tweaked a little. Hope you like the sound of it. :) No Post processing done. Recorded directly with USB as it is.

I have been trying to figure scene changes within the DAW for sometime. I saw other tutorials but they weren't particular to Scene changes. Channel 34 seems to be used to trigger scene changes and I have used it for this video. Should be awesome for songs with more scene changes. :) Using AC30...
