I know this is an ongoing battle, the way I interpret Cliff's documentation means as soon as I load a preset that was created under a previous firmware the new updated parameters are automatically loaded ? No 'soft reset ' necessary ? If so, a big thank you to Cliff and staff..

Electric 12-string thoughts?

Yeah , that video does not do it justice... Have lots of high end guitars and this 12 string is not that bad for like $400 , read up on it's reviews. 1/8 the price of a Rick. For the few tunes I use it for it fits the bill.. Plus it has the Jimmy Page vibe.

Fender Tone Master FR10

I am using either one or two Xitone passive 1x12's powered via a 1000w Matrix amp. Love the flexibility of using passive as I can also power a traditional cab when required... So glad to see more vendors jumping on the FRFR band wagon... Might look at the FR10 as an alternate...

Volume boost using MIDI controller?

I've also sometimes use " Scene Levels " in the Output Block to vary levels . Works great with my RJM midi controller without adding an additional block to my signal chain. Just another option..

Matrix GT1000FX Amp failure and Customer Support

This is very upsetting to hear... I have 2 of their GT1000fx 1 space amps . Had some minor issue that was probably because of a maufacturing spec that had changed since I bought them a couple of years apart. The volume tapers were not the same on each amp. In other words one amp the volume...

As a licensed electrician I was never a fan of those mechanical interlocks... Kinda does the job economically but puts the burden of applying the loads correctly on the homeowner... Could trip out generator at the worse possible time.

I have a Herbert Head and really have not used it much in the past few years...it is a monster of an amp. Too heavy to sell and ship but looks impressive wih some Marshalls and Soldano's next to it in the basement :cool:. Been using the Axefx for over 10 years and can't picture ever going back...

NGD: Fender American Ultra Tele

I have that same Tele... never had one before... Love it.. Plays like a dream , nice contoured body, compound radius neck. It's my go to guitar for single coil snap. Nice touch with the pickguard upgrade .. 🇺🇲

PRS body repair work?

Had a black Starbody Charvel that got some bad gashes in it. Got some white electrical tape and turned it into a suedo Van Halen stripped guitar to cover the damage. For the early 80's it was a quick fix that actually looked pretty custom... Your gash is pretty extreme though... good luck on...

Thanks for your info... I must have been imagining my PERSONAL experience with a non Warmouth / factory Carvin installation where the post threads and insert dimensions between various Gotoh and Wilkinson's were non compatible...like the video showed , not the drilling spacing .. Not saying that...

Gotoh Wilkinson VS1300

I changed my VS-100 to a Wilkinson Convertible Trem and then to a Gotoh VS .... Ran into some of the stud issues brought up in the video.. Had to epoxy new ones into body ... Just an FYI if doing a full bridge upgrade... There is more to the video than the trem block dimensions .

I had the exact same experience ..Around 3 weeks after the second Moderna shot . Audiologists could not do anything but prescribe hearing aids to alleviate some of the symptoms. My GP told me that some of his patients experienced partial deafness and/or Bell's Palsy symptoms ..

I set up my GT16 main page pretty close to yours. I have the Hold function on my Presets buttons set up to take me to another page where I have all my Scene buttons . Hold function on Scene buttons returns me to main page #1 Preset buttons

I agree... Had a JVM100H with my DSL100. Bought the JVM because of the channel switching and other various functions but when it came time to thin the herd the JVM had to go. The DSL is just a real workhorse and sounds great through my 2x12 V30 cabinet. Never had a real Plexi so I can't comment...

Combo amp recommendations

Bought a Boss 100w Katana 2 1x12 . It ain't my Axefx3 rig but for the price its hard to beat especially with the optional foot controller .. Nice and light also... very impressive for SS.

Real Mesa TC100 vs AF3 into guitar cab - looking for advice

I am really following this thread. I have been using a Matrix GT1000 to power a Xitone 1x12 with pretty positive results. I also send a signal sometimes without cab emulation to a 2x12 V30 cab. I have found that for heavier style music the AITR heavyness and crunch are not there with the V30's...

I have been doing some research on going the RJM route . If Fractals Control Switches had midi implantation via RJM I would jump ship. Since I use those a lot I'm settling for the FC route . I've had many midi controllers over the years and the FC's are a beautiful solution , hope the future...

I'm thinking of going with the RJM route since my eyes can't handle the FC displays while standing . I thought I read somewhere that the Masterminds don't support internal CS's ( Control Switches ). I use them for various things on my FC-12 . Can anybody confirm or deny that capability ?

Thanks Michael... Has anyone else had trouble with auto update crashing Axe-edit ? Tried running it from homepage download and it says I don't have permission ? Windows 10 X64 . Installed and upgraded dozens of times, first error ever received .

Who had the dumb idea of making 12" speakers the standard for guitar?

My Fender Prosonic combo had 2- 10 inch speakers. Thought it was very punchy with a few pounds less to carry vs 12's
