Advice needed re: irreplaceable guitar as airline carry-on?

I've done the ticket thing multiple times but still be early and nice to everybody. Not many know all the rules and there are small difference in handling from crew to crew. Remember the captain has the last word: they can force you to check in the guitar whenever they want.

(re)Creating the feedback you can get from standing in front of a cranked amp?

I've noticed that lighter guitars make it easier to get controlled feedback at lower volumes. I have a Strandberg 6 string that just sings at low-ish (not TV low!) volume and my Jem from 20 something years ago makes controlling feedback easier than other guitars. You can also take any small...

Afaik the jack on the NXs is the same as the previous series (which I have). If the Mux works on a strat, it will surely work on a Strandberg. The output jack on a Strandberg is slightly bent towards the player. This incidentally also makes it hard to lay the guitar on its back with a cable...

If the person at the desk did a decent gain staging and then you boost your signal, you're gonna get distortion from the desk, not the good one.
